Wrestling will literally die in another 20-30 years when we all die because we are the last generation still watchin this crap when the Gen Zs and now Gen Alphas will never touch this piece of shit pasttime with a 20 feet pole and I say good riddance
There are Gen Zers wrestling already pops
All they've got to do is do an Attitude Era rerun on Youtube, Raw and Nitro can be head to head like the old days or streamed at different times so people can watch them back to back or on different days.Instant dimes.>why give those diamonds away for free? They're already uploading complete PPVs to Youtube.I'm simply looking ahead.
>>16163716>just show the children 25 year old tv shows
>>16163722that’s literally what all media companies are gonna start doing.
>>16163489People will look back at this era of wrestling and be perplexed as to how it was even on tv so much and how the performers got so much money
>>16163722They put full episodes of Starsky & Hutch on youtube. The Lone Ranger is on youtube. What's My Line, all of it, is on youtube. It's all there. And if there isn't an official upload or release, somebody's VHS recording of the live broadcast has made its way there, such as with the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.Plus, it's a rogue upload of Undertaker-Mankind HIAC KOTT 1998 that got me into wrestling back in 2009.With all the legacy references they make all the time, they might as well use youtube as the archive. They're not gonna make Netflix money on it.
>>16163736How often do you watch stuff from 1975? Do you usually pop on Laverne and Shirley or what?
>>16163786Yeah and I'm sure the boomers who watch them on their smart TVs love it
>>16163788Back in the 70s it was low brow, didn’t have large tv rights fees, and was still seen as a “shoot”. Also they didn’t have internet, or much access to better forms of entertainment, or reading material to provide them enough knowledge to know it was trash
>>16163805It wasn't high brow like the attitude era?
>>16163811The attitude era was a tv show with storylines modeled after daytime tv talk shows that were popular at the time. It was story driven. Also wcw was successful at this same time doing more toned down rasslin horseshit, but the storyline driven style made them lose relevance. What you have now is Indy wrestling shows, with a bigger budget. No storylines, little character, just shitty, overly safe, fake wrestling matches. At least when ecw in the 90s did a in ring focused product, the matches were actually violent and looked halfway decent.
>>16163880Sounds like you're just stuck in your childhood
>>16163722why not? i grew up watching I Love Lucy and the Dukes of Hazzard and those shows existed long before i was born. i still love and watch episodes every now and then to this day
>>16163716lol, that would make them actually not touching that shit
>>16164702There's always an outlier, that does not apply to this argument as all
>>16163489kayfabe died
>>16164702the difference is you're a faggot
>>16163927how so?
>>16164926you tell me
>>16163716I only watch wrestling from before the attitude era.i don't ever need to see the attitude era or anything after it again
>>16164755i hope you're able to come to terms with your homosexuality, anon.
>>16165100so you dont know?
>>16163736Is a very common practice
