WWEID will lock up every major wrestling school. AEW won't be able to develop new talent. Another big L for Tony "Fake TV Deal" Khan.
>>16170369Not a problem for Tiny "Contract Tampering" Khan.
>>16170369>Tony "Fake TV Deal" Khan.
>every major wrestling schoolOnly one actual wrestling school exists
>>16170381>Fake TV Dealthe cope and seethe from you faggots is hilarious
>>16170398WBD owns 40% of AEW so they're getting almost half their money back. It's a fake TV deal.
>be rookie wrestler>get my training subsidized on wwe's dime >sign with aew
>>16170411The best prospects will sign a WWE deal while they're still in school. AEW will never have a chance to evaluate or recruit them.
>>16170408They had to file legal paperwork because of the Kevin Kelly lawsuit and it said that no other entity owns 10% or more of the company. The shit you people come up with is insane. Where the fuck did you even hear that? The Tooney Talk podcast? Go do something with your life man
>>16170429>no other entitybesides WBD
>>16170424If you think Ari is signing every prospect in the country you're fucking crazy. One of the cheapest motherfuckers out there. The schools they're dealing with already work with WWE in the first place, they're just making it official.
>>16170436You belong in an institution
>>16170369Why wasn't Marigold included?
>>16170438It's a mark contract you idiot. $20,000/yr for the top 20 students/prospects in the country is nothing to WWE, but it legally shuts out AEW. Then WWE vets them and the best ones move on to NXT while Tony gets the crap. HAHAHAHA.
>>16170398Rampage got cancelled. Shockwave exists only in headcannon.
Yes but what does Ibou think of this?
>>16170460Do you think WWE is just now scouting indie talent? Are you fucking retarded?
>>16170464Rampage got cancelled, Shockwave is a fabrication and don't forget Collision taped on Thursday because Tony can't afford to do it live every Saturday
>>16170563185M
>>16170503>t. retardThe point is to shut out AEW, you fucking moron.
>>16170628The point is they want to save money. Instead of having 100 prospects at the PC they'll have 40 and send the rest of them out to these schools and have them pay for their own training.
>>16170645You have no idea what you're talking about.
>>16170662WWE is run by investment banks, I know exactly what I'm talking about
>>16170688Sure kid, tell yourself that like you tell yourself one day daddy will come home.
>>16170705That's who owns them. EDR/Silver Lake even has a higher stake now after TKO was force fed EDR's junk assets.
>>16170738>MOM LOOK I MADE A PIE CHARTshove it up your ass and go fuck your mother
>>16170753grow up
>>16170753haha good one, brother. You owned that punk!
>>16170369>WWEID?>More like WWDEI
>>16170768
>>16170755>>16170768>t. touristsGo back where you came from.
>>16170424Tony will still sign guys who worked NJPW or guys who left WWE. Plus you'll still have some guys like Sting's son who will actively choose AEW over WWE.
>>16170369Kek wasn’t that AEW’s developmental
>>16170369>3 out of 5 schools belong to wrestlers contracted to WWE.If this shit isn't nepotism I don't know what it is, hell I'm not even sure if the last 2 schools are actual independent schools and not just schools also belonging to current or retired WWE contractors.
>>16171086One of those is Rikishis school
>>16170369Name a single star any of those sloppy shops have produced. I'll wait.
>>16171086KnokX is owned by Rikishi The other one has a guy that seems to have a lot of WWE backend ties https://eliteprowrestlingtc.com/mike-hollow/I assume all of them already had a WWE pipeline. They're just streamlining and expanding all of that.
>>16171138Elite Pro is owned by Mike Hollow. He trained with Triple H at Killer Kowalski's school.
>>16171208Figured he'd have a connect. Friend of the Prichards too seemingly.
>>16170785>Plus you'll still have some guys like Sting's son who will actively choose AEW over WWEBut Darby is already signed to AEW....
>>16170369>AEW won't be able to develop new talent.they never did
>>16170369oesn't gAyEW have like 500 wrestlers currently anyway? That's enough to last them for at least 50 years
>>16170429The pedophile puppet said it, so it must be true. Please understand.
>>16170847No, it's QT Marshall's school that cody pushed during his aew run
>>16170429You've got this slightly wrong. The filing stated that no publicly traded company owns more than 10% of AEW LLC. But AEW is owned by a parent company called Beatnik Investments which was headed by Khan and Thomas Clarkson. It is possible (though unlikely) that, as Beatnik has no other business apart from AEW, then they bought into the parent company instead. I'm not saying they have, just that the statement is weasel worded. The wrestling media doesn't know who Thomas Clarkson is btw and why he's involved in AEW but here's some "insider knowledge" for you- he's Tony's "handler" who works for his Dad. Clarkson used to work with Shad in Stache Investments, a company setup to loan money to small businesses in the Jacksonville area and was the Chief Financial Officer. He's there to make sure Tony doesn't buy the Moon or give someone a 30000% payrise or something retarded. Putting a straight laced financially conservative guy with Tony has always been a good move. He's a bit loose with money at times if he's passionate about what he's doing.
>>16172302>Beatnik has no other business apart from AEWHave heard they're linked to other stuff and the Khans run a few things through there.
>>16172335They used to. Beatnik for all intents and purposes is Tony Khan. Before AEW, he tried to invest in a few things that were hobby projects but they seem to be out of them all now. They lost $100m on the "Black News Channel" stuff which seemed to be driven by Tony pre-AEW. Good idea I guess and very similar to Shads investments with Stache Investments as it was a community project but they couldn't find other partners so they ended up in bankruptcy. It seems from the outside that Tony has stopped experimenting with the Stache-like community investments and has now focused Beatnik solely on AEW.If you consider AEW a wrestling company and Beatnik (with its attempts to invest in the media space), then having WBD come in as a partner would be a huge get.I've never worked out why people criticise the idea of WBD owning a big chunk of AEW. That's a great thing - having a global media conglomerate as an invested business partner in the business I'd a fantastic advantage.
>>16172510Tony's sister is on the paperwork for it. I figure it's just used for all the kids projects like Tony's statistics company and whatever work shes into. BNC and AEW just came out because of legal shit.
>>16172302>ClarksonHe has no role in AEW.
>>16172536He is the CFO of AEWs parent company.
>>16172901Tony has 100% of control over AEW and his role is nebulous with Beatnik. We don't even really know what it is exactly. It's not a company proper.
