I don't think very many people know about AEW.

I have a bro at work that talks about WWE with me. And on lunchbreak last year the day after Punk's return he was very excited he said "I hope CM Punk still has it" and I told him that he definitely did because he put on several very good matches in AEW. My friend asked "what is AEW?"

And he watches it now. But that interaction showed me AEW isn't as well known as a lot of us in the IWC think it is.
For the casual fan "wrestling" is "WWE" in the same way that "MMA" is "UFC"

The only time AEW got close to mainstream was when the John Silver/Anna Jay meme got popular for a bit and Tony did nothing to really capitalize on Silver's comedic talent.
