WWE has buzz right now and AEW has cooled. It's as simple as that. They could put Main Event up against Dynamite or bring back Heat and it would do decent ratings simply because it's a WWE product. I'm surprised they haven't just bought TNA and put them up against AEW already. An AJ Styles led WWETNA would do good numbers

I think it's actually better for WWE to not do anything at all. Tony's slowly destroying AEW so don't give him any reason change things up. Let him listen to Dave Meltzer who tells him that everything is fine while the ratings slowly decline.

WWE-TKO should NEVER buy out TNA because it would ruin TNA by putting the corporate bean counters on it and also make it same like the same effect as as AEW buying ROH had on ROH, it's just another AEW now.

It's more beneficial in long term to help TNA stay afloat with the joint ventures and such but leave them to their own devices otherwise. It will force them to play catch up and develop their own identity and stars.

While some people look for AEW if they looking for that bigger immediate paycheck and less work hours,
the reality about wrestling is that most wrestlers want to work in WWE like at the very least to see if they can or if it's worth it, and once a TNA or whatever indie fed star gets too big they will be looking to move to WWE regardless of if the company works together or not.
