Why are you doing this?

Maybe they'll beat WWE NXT in 4 to 6 months
>>
>>16247195
Only if Tony promotes his on-air suicide and even then, it will close

And they beat Raw in the demo the very next week

>September 2021
They were pulling a milly every week. Jericho just overestimated Tony, AEW would have actually had a chance of overthrowing 2021 RAW under a better booker

>*gives Brodie Lee a fatal case of Covid*
>*gets bossman to cover it up*
>*such carniness inspires Phil Brooks to sign*

Wow, the decline really was all Jericho's fault.
>>
>>16247195
AEW viewership is trending downwards though, not up. Reaching the wrestling school seems like an impossible task for Tony right now.
>>
>>16247030
Probably because it makes people like you squeal
>>
>>16250080
many have said this
>>
>>16248220
Fucking kek
>>
They were trending up organically until they hired Phil and all the other NXT class of 2021. Stupid thing to do really.
>>
>>16251325
Lmao it was only ever going up because of hiring ex-WWE talent, very few people would actually care about their shitty program otherwise.
>>
>>16251325
PDS is showing
>>
>>16248232
How the hell did Tony get away with this? Downright Vincesque of him.
>>
>>16252366
Is not him I did this

I was chasing chris as usual most spammed awards

I knew that I expected that
>>
They did defeat Raw in the demo ratings twice, but that was it.
>>
>>16251826
Omega/Elite v Hangman/Dark Order was their most consistent drawing angle ever and had a bunch of ex indy guys
>>
>>16251325
Phil drew the most dimes in the company's history and the NXT "rejects" like Toni and Swerve have greatly outshined most of the AEW originals and were the ones staying fresh while the AEW originals were tanking the ratings. Sure, Keef and Atom Smol were busts but they also had massive health problems. Amazing that people think AEW hiring BETTER WRESTLERS killed the company. The problem was always Tony's booking.

DOWN SINCE

Million Viewer Man (trademark abandoned)

Phil was still ultimately not worth it for AEW. Tony shredded his credibility with the fans, the lockerroom, the broader wrestling world, as well as everyone he ever has or ever will do business with. All for a guy who's now with the competition that's ass-raping him in the ratings with their fucking developmental brand.

There's no way the company would be worse off today if he never signed Phil.
>>
>>16253783
nah gayew would have done itself in anyway given the direction it's taking
that part has nothing to do with uncle phil no matter how you try to frame it as him dooming gayew
it was just gonna be a matter of time when public perception would catch up to how much of a shitshow gayew was and how anyone who tried to like it would get bored of it eventually
>>
>>16250080
'fraid so
>>
>>16247009
If I had a dollar for every time a seething dronie posted this image I would have a lot of dollars
>>

About the only way AEW makes money then
>>
>>16247009
Starting the promotion with arena shows was a dumb decision. They should have never tried to compete with WWE. They set the bar way too high. They should have went for an ECW Arena atmosphere and gone up from there. It should have been more like WWE Shotgun.
>>
>>16253783
Should have never signed Jericho either. His presence hasn't helped the ratings.
>>
>>16247009
Still Tony though
