>>16278064This is the only issue with her run. They've given her the bottom bin selection of babyface opposition. So it hasn't been easy for the crowd to get behind them. No shit Nyla Rose isn't going to beat her in a one-off title match. No shit them digging up Yuka Sakazaki to feud with her is going to end with Mariah demolishing her. The feud with Willow was great and felt like the first real threat to her reign even though you knew she wasn't beating her. Willow was still over enough to carry that side of things and make for an interesting pairing. Then there's been Anna. Who they did right by letting her get that quick pin over Mariah. Even though she's clearly not winning the belt off of her it at least put a little skin in the game and made it so it wasn't just another steamrolling. I'm actually looking forward to their match tonight. Looks like Mina is finally next, who they've been hinging Mariah's entire reign on with waiting for her. That should be good and up there with the Willow feud

But the reign itself has been lackluster. That cage match with Becky was one of the worst cage ones I've ever seen, her matches with Rhea have had zero chemistry, and that match with Nia was irrelevant and not very good either. Dominik has felt like more of a prize in her story than the actual title. Which there are for sure parallels there with the Toni and Mariah stuff. But Mariah used Toni to get to the title whereas Liv more so used the title to get to Dom in a way at least since he wasn't actually on her side until Summerslam where she was already champion
