Also New Japan was on fire around 2017 after Okada dethroned Tanahashi and Naito and Kenny step up. Omega was given a very big push after AJ and Nakamura left and he delivered big. The NJPW presentation, booking and style helped him a lot but Osprey himself hasn't been able to have matches on his level... so simply put, Omega is real deal and Osprey is an overrated flip boy.
