What went wrong
>>16285649I remember being hyped, then I saw it had 20 second 'entrances' and I knew it was going to be fucking dogshit lmaoI didn't even care about the graphics, who fucking gives a shit about that, but seeing how fucking lazy it was to not even have full entrances made me not care about this game from day 1
>$10 zero effort DLC>for Keith Lee and The Bunnylooking at the DLC sales numbers would be interesting
>>16285649Ultimately it was that the gameplay itself was clunky and shit. They tried to replicate an N64 game from 20+ years ago and somehow failed. The game has numerous other problems: shit AI, bugs everywhere, ugly graphics, a severe lack of content and vital resources wasted on stupid minigames and the abominably bad stadium stampede mode. In the end of the day it's the fact that the game just doesn't feel right to play that killed it.
>>16285725Are they still releasing dlc?
>>16285649The game simply isn't good. It doesn't have the deliberate pace and gameplay of the THQ/AKI games they wanted to emulate. The roster was woefully outdated It didn't have the features and match types that have become expected in wrestling games and replaced them with unwanted mini games. The graphics are terrible. The DLC is criminally overpriced and offers next to nothing.
Kenny banned me from his chat when i asked if they’re going to make a sequel
>>16286202lmao
>>16285649>no universe mode>lacking CAW options>no community creationsThis game didn´t meet the bare minimum set by the competition. Calling it "Fight Forever" is like false advertisement. You need at least one good mode with replayability for that. Then add something WWE 2K has not. >5 vs 5 matches>various deathmatches>in-match injuries>broken limbs>knock-out without match ending>deep promoter mode(universe+GM mode in one)>unlimited CAW slots (tied to hard drive space)
Game looked like shit but that would've been okay if it had the gameplay and content to make up for it and it absolutely did not
unironically would have been better if they had mdickie make it
>>16288024mdickie with fight forever graphics/gameplay would be kinohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPJJb3v11xw
>>16285649No crossplay, killing multiplayerCareer mode is dull Took so long to come out that the roster was fuckedAside from that it's a fun arcade style wrestling game.
>>16286202Kenny is such a spineless whimp. I think he's half a fag and half a pedo.
>>16285649Almost everything. It's a great encapsulation of AEW as a whole. The biggest problem it had is that it promised too much and a lot of those turned out to be lies. People forget this now but AEW initially claimed that it was going to be a single release that will be constantly updated for years instead of new games every year. They dropped it after 3 months. Secondly, the money they spent to develop it was kind of incredible for what they recieved back. They spent more on this than they spent on the entire company in Year 2 of its operation. This isn't a bad thing until you see the product. It's clear that they saw Tony as a money mark to exploit and while they delivered a game, it cost 10 times more than it deserved to.Ultimately the first problem is the biggest though and the same as AEW as a whole. It was overhyped, promised to be all things to all people, and underdelivered so soured an audience who felt lied to.
>>16285725bitch looks straight out of Banjo Tooie wtf
