WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg made it clear that he will have a retirement match in 2025 and that instantly made fans wonder who would end up challenging him in his last match. That being said, Goldberg has now addressed Ryback’s constant challenges towards him.

For the past few years, former WWE star Ryback has been making headlines for constantly calling out Goldberg for a retirement match. His challenges have gone unanswered for a long time as no one expects Goldberg to genuinely accept Ryback’s challenge anyway.

During a recent episode of The Cat’s Corner Podcast, the host asked Goldberg about the possibility of facing his final opponent, referencing Ryback by asking, “What’s that guy’s name? He wants you so bad, he just love you. He wanna be you, I won’t bring his name. Are you talking about the guy that’s always hungry?”

Although Goldberg didn’t directly name Ryback, he asked the host to keep his identity private. He said he understood and appreciated the challenge but made it clear that he wasn’t interested in accepting it. Goldberg explained that he works in a different way and isn’t the right person for that match right now, but he wasn’t insulting Ryback in any way.

>“I’m greatly appreciative of his passion, period. But I’m not that guy. I work in different ways, Ernest, you know that… And I’m just not that guy. I’m honored, and I get it and I see the reasoning, but right now I’m just not that guy. It’s not that I’m insulting him in anyway shape or form. I’m just not that guy right now; you can read whatever you want into that.”

Goldberg also addressed potentially facing Ric Flair in his retirement match and made it clear he really didn’t want Flair to die again. Therefore, only time will tell who will end up becoming Goldberg’s final opponent, as fans can more or less rule out Ryback now.

KWAB, Oldberg fears The Ryback
>>
Apparently Tony is very close to signing the Big Guy in a seven figure contract. The Goldberg match was never going to happen unless it was in AEW.
>>
it seems the elderly jew is afraid!!!

Why would Goldberg want to wrestle a nobody for his retirement match? That would be like Roman wrestling MJF, Darby, or OC.
>>
>>16289994
Sad that this match isn't going to happen but I wish the best of luck to both of these gentlemen.

Ryback is unironically a better wrestler than Shitberg ever was.
With this said, I have no idea who the fuck Goldberg would possibly want to have retire him. No one out there really fits and dude already had a non-existent schedule, does he really need the ceremony? Everyone knows he’s done and has been done for several years.
Jew power is something else.

If it would've been a year or two seeing Wardlow retire Goldberg could've been cool but now Wardlow is cooled off and Tony would just waste the momentum even if Goldberg did agree to retire in AEW instead of WWE.
