Shawn couldn't draw for shit and thats why they kept going back to Bret. Bret also was far less of a self mark than Shawn, he put Shawn over at WM12 and help build Austin to becoming the megastar he became

Yeah but for some reason he couldn't realise he needed to drop the belt when he was about to leave for WCW. The Montreal Screwjob was sadly necessary and Goldberg screwed Bret harder than any WWF guy. Pride comes before the fall like Triple H said to Randy Orton in 2008
