>AEW is making a major move by bringing AEW Revolution to Los Angeles’ iconic Crypto.com Arena (formerly the Staples Center) on March 9, 2025. This marks the first time the company will host an event at the legendary venue, and while it’s big news for wrestling fans, not everyone is thrilled with how it played out.>According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, AEW’s announcement came shortly after WWE opted to move its own event from Crypto.com Arena to the Intuit Dome for an upcoming Raw on Netflix.>Sources close to the situation revealed that the venue’s exclusivity agreement with WWE was a longstanding arrangement. However, WWE’s decision to switch venues ruffled some feathers at Crypto.com Arena.>One source said they were pleased when AEW stepped in, mentioning, “It rubbed them the wrong way that WWE switched venues, and they were happy AEW quickly announced their PPV after WWE’s Intuit Dome announcement.”>The source also pointed out how, years ago, WWE booked the arena on short notice during a scheduling conflict with Pepsi Arena in Denver, showing how deep their ties once ran.>AEW’s move into Crypto.com Arena comes as part of a broader expansion that includes running events at new and more intimate venues. In 2025, fans can look forward to shows at Oceanside’s Frontwave Arena and Knoxville Coliseum, among others. Meanwhile, the company is scaling down in some markets, moving from larger venues like the Yum Center in Louisville to the smaller Broadbent Arena.
>>16297643Surely Tony will be able to fill the Crypto.com Arena.
>get big leagued>have to pretend you're happy with the secondary promotionKWAB
>>16297643>Crypto.com ArenaWhat the fuck is wrong with America?
>>16297648Yeah with tarps, lmao.
>AEW can only run NBA arenas for their PPVsTalk about grim
>>16297659do you think advertising is an american phenomenon you mongoloid?
>>16297643kek like an ex dating a mid guy to make you jealous.
>>16297643all these dirtsheets articles aren't gonna make the wrestling watchable, tonibakan.
>>16297643>The source also pointed out how, years ago, WWE booked the arena on short notice during a scheduling conflict with Pepsi Arena in Denver, showing how deep their ties once ran.I don't think that speaks to any sort of relationship between the companies. WWE needed a venue, the date WWE needed was open so they obliged. Seems like a simple business decision.
>>16297643more large arenas to fill with tarps, yay!
>>16297643kek
>>16297643I see the dronies are taking this well
>>16300130>Tony could only boom a venue after WWE went for the more updates venue.E-chads seem to be taking it great
>>16300151You squeal on command. Good piggie
>>16300160You seethe replied to me in a minute. I would order you to jump but your legs don't work.
>>16297643So basically, WWE dumped Crypto Arena like a sack of potatoes and AEW is their new beta boyfriend. Reminds me of Flair vs Savage and how Flair fucked Miss Elizabeth before Mach had her. Damaged goods. That's Crypto Arena.
>>16297643It doesn't matter if AEW's booking the arena when it's going to be 70% empty anyway.
>>16297643Been to the Staples Center for a Dodgers game once. I say this with 100% certainty: Tony will not be able to fill it. Not even close.Seriously, what is he doing? Does he think "capacity" was the limiting factor for him thus far? It's fucking expensive to get the Staples Center. Will he get Taylor Swift to show up to fill it? I don't see any other way, especially since the incoming president is a WWE HoFer and will probably outlaw AEW come January.

I'm surprised that stuff still goes on in 2024. I get it if it's 1990 and the WWF is running LA every 6 weeks. But WWE doesn't run that arena or any non-NXT arena's that much. I'm surprised any big name arena would really care about wrestling civil wars.
>>16300224>My first reply in this threadHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I see the replied? I simply said that Tony Kwab could only book a venue WWE doesn't need. You doing okay Hoggers? Btw I love you still pretending you in the East Coast. 22:08 has me howling
Great reporting. Love the part where he confirms when AEW actually booked the venue, and also where he clarified why WWE changed to another venue with almost the same capacity.
>>16300265Correction WWE is booking the brand new arena. They dumped the Staples Center
>>16300202>the incoming president is a WWE HoFer and will probably outlaw AEW come January.Damn, I never really thought about that. Should have gotten a clue when The Rock un-endorsed Biden saying voting for him was a mistake. Shit, I wonder if Vince is gonna get pardoned?! What a blessed day! We just keep on winning!AEW is marked for fucking death now. Everything from Kylie's rape to Punk's unjust firing are gonna be huge court cases. Tony is probably gonna have to give the Jaguars to Punk as payment and Punk will change their name to:>FLA Punks
>>16300202Dodgers don't play at the staples center
>>16300291Yeah well I hope Punk fucks off from wrestling forever if he gets the Jaguars. He's a different kind of cancer, but still cancer.
>>16300296Shit you're right, it was the Dodgers Stadium. Well never mind, hope the Staples Center is smaller than that, because it was still massive.
>>16297659I don't even know how to pronounce the Steelers stadium's new name. Acupuncture Field? Aperture Field? Acrimony Field?
>>16300303Phil isn't effecting your life directly, don't know why you're so mad at him. The tone of your posts reminds me of lefties melting down online. They think Trump is Hitler but can never say why. Me? I don't judge people I don't even know. Even Tony.

>>16297643>Billy GOAT>Reiwa Inoki>Mercedes Moné>WBD Deal>MAX Streaming Deal>Top Black Wrestlers in the world>Kicking WWE out of their own venuesHuh. Looks like reality is very different from whatever narrative the joshipedos try pushing on this board. AEW is kicking WWE's evil fucking ass and they are winning the war.
>>16301349>Mercedes MonéWhat a waste of Daddy's money. Feel bad for her cuck. Did he know? Or just not care.
>>16301349Apart from AEW losing money every year and nobody watching the show, it's going great
>>16297643>Meanwhile, the company is scaling down in some markets, moving from larger venues like the Yum Center in Louisville to the smaller Broadbent Arena.kwab
I have a God complex. Because I watch WWE and know I'm better than everyone.
>>16297643WWE will beusing the much newer brand spanking new Intuit dome meanwhile AEW has to settle for the used whore KWAB
>>16297659Don't worry, it'll be the Ahmaud Arbury Memorial Stadium in a few years.
