>>16346794i'm trying to plot the tournament out, assuming it's still 12 girls. drawing from the smackdown US one, the tournament has a pretty obvious pattern in how it's structured - one clear favorite to win, this is a main event level talent or an upper midcarder (bianca, bayley, jade, naomi); one lower midcarder that they are testing the waters of a push for or is already getting a minor one (candice, chelsea, michin, tiffy), one pin eating jobber to protect the lower midcarder's push (b-fab, blair, piper, elektra - although in piper's case i'm not sure if the pin is all she's eating). you could argue that tiffany/naomi don't exactly fit those categories 1-to-1, and chelsea isn't really getting/testing out a push so much as she's already permanently over even in the lower midcard and doesn't necessarily need one to get over, but i think it's mostly sound.i tried to just extrapolate that formula over to raw, but there's problems. for one, smackdown is using literally every woman on their roster except for the champion, big match nia. they forced elektra to remember she's a wrestler, dragged blair out of catering and had to give b-fab a solo entrance, that's how you know they're scraping the bottom of the barrel. raw has 22 women listed on the site (that includes asuka and becky) with maybe 17 or 18 max that would enter, the pool is deeper and i hope they might focus more on true midcard women (meaning, i don't want to see IYO enter to either job in the midcard or win but downgrade to the midcard anyway, or rhea hogan stomp all over these girls' hopes and dreams). the raw women's upper midcard is also stretched a bit thin.raw also has a slight abundance of female faces compared to heels (SD is about even) so balancing the tournament to fall into the structure while maintaining traditional face-heel matches in the 1v1s, which i'll guess SD is gonna do, gets a little tricky.here is what i believe could be a legit way for the tournament to pan out with a kairi win
