I watched the Gunther match and loved it.It's depressing that people think that because wrestling is scripted, the only valid way to discuss it is in terms of business metrics. I think this attitude comes from people who only know sports and no other form of popular culture. They only know to judge value of entertainment by looking at box scores. Being able to execute spots and being able to wrestle a match aren't the same thing.The people who are great at having matches still stand out as being great. Like Orton, Gunther, Cody Rhodes or Bryan Danielson. The reason someone like Will Ospreay's ring work is so divisive isn't because of his explosive style, it's because he still struggles to get from point A to point B without the guiding hand of a veteran like Danielson or some of the guys he worked with in Japan. And I think a lot of current hyper-athletic NXT people (mainly the women) are going to come up with the same problem.
