Yes, NXT won. But really, AEW won.

>Autistic Jewish mental gymnastics
Amazing.
>>
>>16466964
moral victory chads, we won
>>
>>16466964
neither won. they are both terrible
>>
Does CW even have a huge advantage over TBS? I know that technically it's available in more homes, but it's not considered a premier channel. It's not that well known, and all their hit shows were really just hits on Netflix, not really on the actual channel. CW doesn't get very much attention and it's not as well known as TBS.
>>
>>16466964
Based. Doubling down on stupid shit seems to be the only way edrones operate so why not play their game too
>>
>>16467011
I don't know about the live sports but CW shows not named NXT are like 300/400k at best.
>>
>>16466964
Contradicts himself in the same exact tweet. What a jabroni.
>>
>>16467011
>Does CW even have a huge advantage over TBS? I know that technically it's available in more homes
Answered your own question before you tried to cope your way out of it. Look at the difference between Smackdown's numbers on Fox compared to USA. That's the difference basic cable and network tv
>>
>>16467019
And they've only gotten into live sports extremely recently.
>>
>>16467022
I mean, I have channels like Cozi and Comet available to me through my antenna, and I don't get the Paramount Network in my Sling package, but I'm pretty sure Yellowstone is getting way better numbers than anything on Cozi.
>>
>>16467011
TBS is a much stronger channel than CW
>>
This argument falls apart when you look at how most CW shows can barely get 300k
>>
>>16467053
Are you implying WWE fans are too stupid to find CW?
>>
>>16466964
>muh moral victory
This flippy-fellating goober is done.
>>
>>16467037
Congratulations to you and your antenna man
>>
>>16467061
I mean they must be, because an entire million of them haven't seemed to be able to find where Smackdown moved to
>>
>>16467056
No it doesn't. That just means there isn't interest in those shows. The argue is heavily supported when you see that Smackdown's numbers dropped by an entire milly just from moving from Fox to USA. Unless you're saying that many people suddenly became disinterested in WWE's product one week to the next. Using other shows doesn't mean anything. Think of half the shitty programming they put on USA. None of that has any bearing on how well or not Raw does

>>

This guy sold his last bit of credibility to be a Tony Khan shill. Sad shit.
>>
>>16467096
>b-b-but AEW
Fucking yawn man. This whataboutism shit is so tired and it doesn't negate a single thing about Smackdown's numbers. AEW could have 2 million or 0 viewers and Smackdown's numbers would still be down from where they were before they moved. Them being on Fox was doing a shit ton of heavy lifting for them
>>
>>16467061
There's a big difference between a show like NXT that draws hundreds of thousands of people to the channel and shows like Dynamite which get less viewers than the big bang theory reruns that play before it and relies on them to fall asleep without changing the channel to pop a good rating
>>
>>16467097
It means that compared to other stuff on the network, it's doing amazingly. People don't watch CW. How do AEW numbers compare to Big Bang Theory?
>>
both companies are garbage
>>
If Dave is talking about the demo, he's right
>>

It's closer to zero viewers lmao.

Serious non-meme question - Why is Dave like this?

Is he on AEW payroll?
Does he genuinely 100% believe what he says?
Is he autistic? And I don't mean this modern 'everyone has ADHD and autism autistic', I mean literal REAL autism
Is he consulting AEW or secretly booking it?
Does it cause him physical pain to just concede that he is incorrect on occasion?

I don't think I've ever seen anyone go through so much mental gymnastics over the past 5 years AEW's been around than what we see from Dave everyday.
Surely at this point it's more profitable to actually start scrutinizing AEW because that gives you more credibility as a journalist and you're more likely to gain subscribers, right? It refreshing even to see a someone say "You know what, I was wrong" than double-down. It's just bizarre watching him cope for all these years.

I don't feel sorry for him, I'm just genuinely curious why he would be this way. Has he always been like this?
>>
>>16467158
>no argument, just squealing
tiresome, boring
>>
>>16467158
>Serious non-meme question - Why is Dave like this?

aew is his dream of what a wrestling promotion should be and he's done everything he can over the last 5 years to make it a success and he's asshurt normies have rejected it
>>
>>16466964
>AEW is not in competition with NXT
uh-oh, don't let the "NXT RATINGS PLUMMET" tard see this
>>
>>16466964
Does Big Dave seriously not know how unpopular the CW network is in 2024? I thought he was supposed to be an expert on this stuff?
>>
>>16466964
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>
>>16467158
AEW is shoot booked by Dave, if that shit dies so does his ideology of what wrestling should be, and so far it looks like Meltzerism wrestling is anti draw cancer that only 5 obese subhumans enjoy
>>
It doesnt really matter and i doubt Dave cares what people think, but more people would take him seriously if he didnt come off as a shill. Just admit that the product is declining and needs to do something to turn it around alongside saying the demo is fine or that they beat NXT. There was once a time where it looked like they could actually start beating raw, and now its settling on, "well sometimes they beat NXT"
>>
>>16467011
Foreigners really can't seem to understand the difference between network tv/cable
>>
>>16467123
And Smackdown still lost an entire million just by moving channels. See how these two points are completely independent of each other? Unlike you being independent of your mother to cook you dinner
>>
>>16467114
Yeah that whole thank based Sheldon thing died months ago because people stopped watching that too kek. You're conflating so many different things that have no bearing just to undersell NXT benefiting from being on basic cable
>>
>>16467110
>Clicks on a thread comparing WWE to AEW
>Gets pissy when someone brings up AEW
Try to be less transparent lmao
>>

Can we get a translator in here? He's having a melty
>>
>>16466964
AEW's decline has actually broken Meltzer. It's weirdly sad to see.
>>
>meltzer three months ago
cw is a weak channel, no one watches the cw, nxt will be their biggest show, I think nxt will get lower ratings on cw than they did on usa network
>meltzer now
it's not fair to compare nxt to aew because nxt is on the cw which gives them an unfair advantage over aew
>>
Do you really have to make a thread for everything Dave tweets

He and tony are cut from the same cloth. Any working anon knows the manager who distracts themselves with non problems and the manager who pretends everything is fine when the business is going under. Maybe if either of them could admit to problems they'd solve them

this is what you piggies sound like. correct. especially when you have no argument left after you've played the "but aew" card

has NXT gained or lost in the ratings since it switched to CW?
>>
>>16467745
Yeah I'm not saying the WWE is in great shape, but NEET cope faggot. You get your distracting yourself from the reality of AEW being shit and dying to point fingers at a company that while shitty, isn't dying. You know the whole point I made about how failures distract themselves instead of addressing reality.

I didn't go back and look but I feel like it's been about the same if not a little lower. Except the first two episodes which were special episodes and got more than was average on USA.

I'm pretty sure that a few weeks ago Meltzer (or Brian, idk) said that Tony books "jokes" or storylines that only he and Meltzer know about, so at least it is confirmed that Tony talks with him about booking

That's wild that Smackdown lost almost double what Dyinhype draws in viewers and yet it STILL draws around 2-2.5 Dynamite's numbers.
