Is TNA cooked? Rumor is Anthem might be sick of them
>TNA pay cuts while WWE/AEW are splurgingwhats the strategy
Imagine the bidding war for the tape library and the trademarks
>>16497131They couldnt be making much to begin with, must be asked to take an mlw level payday
>>16497139ROH went for 4M and that's with Tony wanting to keep it goingMaybe a 3rd party will buy it. Shane? Billy? Scott?
>>16497160After seeing how Billy handled NWA I'd pass on seeing his vision for TNA. Shane O'Mac, on the other hand, might be interesting
Their TV situation is barely a positive. They are on a channel no one gets at a time when everyone is cutting cable. They could bring in Roman tomorrow and it won't have a huge effect on ratings because of their channel. No one really knows about their overseas TV situations.I doubt they have a ton of TNA+ subs.Drawing wise, they draw like a good indy and run limited events. They also just have to deal with the realities that wrestling has a limited fanbase, WWE and AEW offer more wrestling than most people can follow as is and have much more dedicated fanbases and that there's a lot of competition for eyes and dollars these days. Any star they make is going to be taken and they are mostly going to have to rely on people AEW/WWE don't want and younger talent.
>>16497136Sell to WWE
>>16497139Tony will win any wrestling bidding war. We just have to hope he wants the tape library for posterity (being able to show clips from classic Samoa Joe matches once he's ready to retire, etc) and doesn't try to keep the belt lineages going. We don't need an AEW X-Division title.
>>16497191Would have scoffed at Shane a year ago but he wants back in and they have the fed pipeline. Having a high end development brand was his idea to begin with which is where WWECW came from. So it seems like something he might try.
>hire Tessa>shit goes down immediately
They just announced two huge venues in LA and NY for Rebellion and Slammiversary 2025Everyone that's leaving was loyal to Scott D'Amore. Grace and Josh A have done everything they can do in TNA and it's time for them to move to a bigger platform. Rhino also has a lot of miles on him. No one is going to miss Speedball or Trent Seven and they did nothing for TNA's businessThis happens every few years: they clear out the tenured talents and start over with newer cheaper talent. Anthem is prioritizing ex WWE ppl like Xia Li. Didn't Riddle just come in?
>>16497257He'll bring back Dabo Kato for sure
Still, good news about the WWE partnership.
>Tony buys TNA>is now an official partner of WWEWould be pretty funny
>>16497136Gotta pat for JBL somehow. Also contracts are running out
Just need to hold out till the Rumble then they'll bounce back.
>>16497320>Tony buys TNAVince should.
Gotta pay for Tessa lmaoooooooo
>>16497160>>16497191>>16497257If Shane wanted a company of his own he'd have one by now
>>16497131POP-Tv bros we're back.
>>16498137The start up for that would be insane. TK locked out by having a ton of amazing free agents all ready at the right time and even then it took a year or two to fill out the roster
>>16498201He could easily buy out TNA or NWA was more my thinking
Neither Vince or Tony would have any respect for TNA's soul, it would just become exactly similar to their other shows.
Shouldn't have abandoned knockouts
>>16497131What the fuck is Dave on? Didn't Rhino fucking retire?
>>16499161>Didn't Rhino fucking retire?Nope. I don't believe the word retire was ever part of it, just that he was ending his run with TNA
>>16499161He'll either sign a yummy Legends deal or he'll be back in the mudshow deathmatch feds doing appearances
That's weird. It doesn't even feel like a year ago that WWE fans were saying they would be watching and TNA had a chance of becoming the #2 company. What went wrong?
This is from Meltzer. So it's fake.
