what went so fucking right NOAHomies?
why isnt kenoh the globally recognized goat
whos the afro nigga
>>16659139I thought Wagner was leaving
>>16659179He is
>>16659139If they fuck over /ourguy/ Soya for bitch ass Endo I... who am I kidding, that's exactly what they'll do.
>>16659220Endo might knock himself out during the match
>>16659139>Jack Morris>Omos>Saxon Huxley>LJ ClearyGET THE FUCK OUT
>>16659220NOAH does not protect their talent. Soya will lose to Endo.Kenoh will lose to OZAWA (at least this one's justified)Kiyomiya will job to Omos.Kitamura will dick around in tag matches for most of the year. Glad we never capitalized on Kitamura's victory over Ishii in their stellar feud. No singles titles despite being in NOAH since 2012... wow, they really rewarded him. 7 attempts at the GHC and came up with nothing. 3 National attempts... nothing. Nakajima put him over big time in 2021 in both singles and tag matches, which led to... 4 months of 6 man tags, losing tag titles to Muto/Marufuji and a losing record in the N1 Victory that year. Glad Soya didn't capture the GHC from Kenoh last year when he had a ton of momentum. I'm glad he put over Shiozaki in 2023 to decide the N1 Victory. Shiozaki sure needed that accolade. Glad Kiyomiya... well... everything. He could have gone over Muto but I guess Marufuji needed a 4th reign. I'm glad his 1st reign ended by putting over the young star Shiozaki... but that's fine because his 2nd reign ended with... oh... Jake Lee. Glad Kenoh is always tasked with building others and never given any lengthy title reigns. 3 title reigns and not one of them reached 100 days.
>>16659402All of the NOAH hype lately makes me think it's all just console warring because you're absolutely right on every count.
I’m still seething that the dumbfucks running NOAH thought it was a good idea to have let beltless LIJ go over KONGO who had all the belts>muh exposureFucking cucks happily getting cucked by AEW’s developmental
>>16659139kek, birdgirl's husband is on the card, I thought he was just a complete shitter stuck on UK indies
>>16659455I love the talent at NOAH.I hate the booking at NOAH.The "partnership" with WWE, so far, has had little bearing on anything. I don't consider Nakamura a "WWE guy" and Omos is just wasting time in the tag division... hopefully for a cup of coffee and no more. It's a blip on the radar.
>>16659532I agree 100%.I think NOAH is the worst booked promotion of the last 15 years, even worse than AJPW which at this point is just rife with sheer incompetence. NOAH isn't just incompetent booking, though, it's actively malicious towards the guys who should actually be the faces of the company. It's one of the worst examples of Japanese elder-worship that I can think of, just a bunch of salty old undercarders shitting on the young starts for 15 fucking years straight.
>>16659545I can definitely agree with your assessment that NOAH has the worst booking... and, yes, I'm a huge AJPW mark... and, yes, they were the worst booked fed for years.NOAH kind of fucked things up right from the start, although most of it was unintentional. I believe the original plan was to give the GHC title to Kobashi, then he'd drop to Akiyama in a passing of the torch moment. Kobashi's back-to-back injuries nixed that plan and forced an aging Misawa to pass the torch to Akiyama. Okay, no serious harm yet. Then Akiyama dropped the belt to Ogawa of all people... and after mostly "foreign invader" defenses. No new talent elevated. Ogawa should have been a transitional champ but he inexplicably held the title for 150+ days and toppled Taue and Rikio (when people still thought Rikio might be worth a damn). Losing to Takayama in a squash made sense. Takayama was huge at the time, a crossover sensation in Japan. Surely a nice long run was in store for him... 16 days later Misawa had the belt back. Awesome... did he put over any young guys this time? No? ...just a meaningless match with Ogawa again? Super.Kobashi returned, defeated Misawa and had the greatest title reign in wrestling history. Don't even argue with me. Losing to Rikio was a disaster then and a tragedy now. Rikio did his best before dropping it to a near-retirement Taue. Fine... whatever.Taue passed the torch to Akiyama and things were on track for a while. Marufuji got his first taste of gold. Misawa had a far too long 448 day reign but at least he put over Marufuji, KENTA and Morishima. Sasaki was a beast. Akiyama got his 3rd reign, Shiozaki crowned (x2), Sugiura crowned, KENTA finally! Morishima was given 3 reigns for some reason. A lot of folks cry foul at Suzuki's outsider nWo-esque reign but if you watch the matches he lit up talent tremendously. Sugiura's heel turn, Marufuji as NOAH'S heart and soul and Nakajima's ascension were all on the back of these supposed bad times.
It's so grim. They put like 3k in the Budokan. It's just time to call it a day.
>>16659801It wasn't until after Suzuki was long gone that the cracks started to form again. Marufuji, Shiozaki and Sugiura traded the belt back and forth. Nakajima broke the stalemate and was given a monster 300+ day reign before... holy shit... Eddie Edwards. The fuck is wrong with NOAH?No worries, don't panic. Kenoh rises up and takes back the belt and the pride of NOAH. Back on track! Short reign for Kenoh but Sugiura is a worthy champ and he puts over Kiyomiya clean. Kiyomiya is far from ready but it's remarkable that NOAH gives him a near 400 day reign before dropping it to Shiozaki.Shiozaki has the best reign of the COVID era, and that statement isn't limited to Japan. No company on Earth did it better. How was he rewarded? An aging Muto takes the title off him. Well... to be expected in Japan I guess. Muto was the last active legend from the 80s/90s. Let's hope he puts over younger talent... Kiyomiya: loss, Kitamura: loss. Marufuji ultimately takes the title, and I love Marufuji... but he didn't need the rub. Nakajima drops him and then loses to Fujita. No comments needed. 63 days later Fujita surrenders the title after disagreeing with booking. Shiozaki regains the title from the illustrious VACANT. 43 days later another aging star needs some faded glory recognition. Kojima takes the title for a whopping 34 days before DOING WHAT MUTO SHOULD HAVE DONE IN 2021 and puts over Kenoh. Inexplicably, the man who absolutely NEEDS a lengthy defining run is immediately challenged by a guy that NEEDS a big win to solidify their worth. Booking failure 101 as Kiyomiya takes the title. NOAH gets Jake Lee and furiously masterbates over their huge win by giving him a 223 day reign, absolutely crushing every single goddamn NOAH wrestler in the process. Kiyomiya: beaten, Nakajima: bashed, Marufuji: in tatters, Sugiura: dominated, Shiozaki: stepped on. Finally, the fans are given mercy when Kenoh slays the dragon! I can't hate on Wagner winning.
>>16659139i can't believe they keep bringing in that retard Huxley, what the FUCK do they see in himshame it's Wagner's last NOAH match
>>16660390It's amazing that Huxley has parlayed a dollar general Bruiser Brody look into 2 years of bookings with NOAH. He's abysmal.
>>16659139>Omos is a Japanese legend before Sashit Skanks and old BAGLEYLOL
here's your challenger
what went wrong? stardom draws more then Noah at this point kek
>>16660708I see the Bushidrones are slurping up their Bushislop from their troughs like the good little Bushipiggies they are.
>>16660734Tell me what's good about Kitomiya getting geeked out for guys 40+ years old all the time and I'll tell you NOAH's great
Stardom and NOAH are allies
>>16660734Kenoh jobbing to some no name fed shitter in the N1 is not helping the company
>>16660742you tell me
>>16660742kiyomiya or kitamiya
Kaito will wrestle Cody on Netflix
>>16661096Two glorified midcarders... sounds about right.
>>16659402Kitamura and Soya should never win the GHC, that's how you devalue a title. Other than that you're pretty spot on.Except for the Muto thing, he clearly politic and he was supposed to hold the title longer until his injuries caught up with him so he selected Marufuji to beat him which is fine, he could've(should've) held it longer but at the end of the day you got the symbol of the company finally holding the new gen belt, Muto busting out the moonsault for someone he genuinely loves and Nakajima getting a big match that results in a great reign.
>>16659801>Misawa had a far too long 448 day reign but at least he put over Marufuji, KENTA and MorishimaBro... when? Morishima I get, but...
>>16659402Kenoh/OZAWA will probably be a DQ or something since OZAWA has nobody to face besides a guy like Kenoh.
>>16665428It's not a title match.
>>16664408What's not to like about Kitamura and Soya? Hard hitting, rough neck brutes that can adapt to multiple styles... Muto's reign was good in the sense that it got a lot of new eyes on the product but it was clearly meant to put over Kiyomiya by the end. You can say Muto's body couldn't hold out long enough but when it came time to pass the torch his ego selected the biggest star in the company to lose to, rather than the younger generation that needed a big rub.>>16664555It was more akin to "putting them over in defeat," rather than putting them over by losing to them. He gave them competitive back-and-forth matches, which made them look more like contenders rather than light heavyweights. Look... I was stretching the truth a bit to make the last Misawa reign less of an abomination.>>16665428I actually just overlooked that it's not a title match. Yeah... it'll probably be a dusty finish regardless or MAYBE Kenoh will win, leading to a title match that OZAWA will win in screwy fashion.
