I made it to the end of the Roman vs obese Walmart employee match and had to stop. It’s just too stupid. Clearly made for children and/or mentally challenged adults. Everything is slow. I went into this *wanting* it to be good. AEW has been a big fucking wet disappointment for going on three years now (longer? probably). I have a VPN, I was able to watch this without ads. Commercial-free WWE, if WWE was on top of its game, seemed like it would be *chef's kiss*.
But it wasn't. It sucks. And to have brainless e-drones trying to defend this and just bully people who don't like it into changing their minds just pisses me off more.
It was dog shit and I just don't see it being better.
I love New Japan and Stardom. But like you said, they're shadows of themselves as well. I suppose the one benefit with those is that you can fully just get away with watching big shows.
