Peoples viewing habits are based around their own schedules. Anecdotal but a lot of boomers will simply stop watching rather than subscribe to Netflix, it's just who they are.

it's not on cable anymore. it's not going to do cable ratings anymore. not everyone with cable is also subscribing to netflix, believe it or not. plenty of people don't subscribe to cable either, look at smackdown's ratings drop when it left fox.
I can’t believe they put out squid games a week before raws debut. No one was going to watch anyway, but that cemented it. The raw viewership on USA was probably 80% habitual watchers who just have USA network on that particular night. People aren’t going to put on raw on Netflix unless they really want to watch raw, and it’s so boring, who would want to do that??
