Its not a race thing, everyone loved Jeff Hardy.Even after his peak which was probably around 2000/2001 I remember kids and non-wrestling talking about him in the mid to late 2000s. His aura kinda coincided with the late/post Jackass years where guys like him were seen as appealing. He's one of those rare guys who's massively popular, so much so even the non-typical WWE audience knew of his crazy shit. Even teenage girls fucking loved him, which especially for a wrestler is a huge mark of universal appeal.Sort of had the Eddie Guerrero effect (probably more accurate to call it Jeff Hardy effect). Not a massive draw like a Steve Austin or The Rock who fill arenas, but in his own right is well-known, beloved, would get huge reactions and considered cool by people who don't typically watch wrestling.
