Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker are all proof of the real reason why Hogan got booed. Let's look at the excuses given:
>he got booed for saying the word years ago
Every wrestling fan by now knows Flair called Teddy Long the word. Teddy's video on it has over 3 million views and has been out for years, and there's no reason to believe he's lying about it. Yet Flair still always got pops in WWE long after that video was released
>he got booed for supporting Trump, and California is a blue state
Taker openly supported Trump, and he didn't get booed during his appearance on the very same Raw show. He got a huge pop
>he got booed for being an asshole backstage for years, screwing other wrestlers over and holding them down, and playing backstage politics
Shawn Michaels is infamous for this, yet he never got significant boos in his post-Attitude era years besides when playing a heel
Hogan didn't get booed for any of the above individual reasons
He got booed because of ALL OF THE ABOVE REASONS. He's the worst combination of all of them. The fans are willing to let one, maybe two of them slide, but not all three
>>
He also bankrupted by all-time favorite web page

>the word
We say NIGGER here brother HH(Heil Hitler)
>>
>>16723957
let's be honest, it's mostly the trump support. also it was pretty naive to believe he could the exact same promo he cut at the republican convention and expect them to buy it
>>

I'll never understand why he decided to come out and publicly support Trump. He was already on thin ice with the leaked racist audio and the backstage politics reputation. He should have either kept his politics private or came out and fake-supported Kamala. Yeah some people would have seen right through it, but that's still better than him talking about body slamming a female "black" presidential candidate. You can't do that then expect to get cheers in Cali, I don't care how big of a wrestling legend you are
>>
>>16724077
kamala isn't black? fuck is blud on about?
>>
>>16723957
>Every wrestling fan by now knows Flair called Teddy Long the word
Flair will forever be based for somehow not only avoiding scandal for this, but also for still being seen as cool to blacks afterwards
Dude still had famous rappers making songs in tribute to him and everything, lmao
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPTlvQ1Zet0
>>
you forgot the 4th reason: hogan sucks
>>
>>16724122
flair kind of embodied the lifestyle that blacks pine for and was crystallized culturally in scarface
>In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women.
>>
The solution to this is so simple: only make appearances in red states for the remainder of his life. Problem solved
>>
>>16724165
I don't know how true it is but another anon claimed he once got booed in Florida too recently
>>
>>16723988
They bankrupted themselves by blatantly not following a court order
>>
>>16723957
>let me tell you that hogan didn't get booed by the crowd because of trump, but also tell you that he got booed by the crowd because of trump
give it up troons. the world knows why he was booed.
>>
>>16724165
The counterpoint to this is that your average wrestling fan isn’t the southern yokel anymore so much as it is an insecure, plausibly gay manchild
>>
>>16724165
Texas here, we don't like this chud either. He should just fuck off forever.
>>
>>16723957
He got booed because he literally showed up to shill his shitty alcohol and that's it. If he cut a promo or something that would've been fine and won the crowd over but considering all he did was
>Buy my alcohol brother
No wonder everyone booed.
>>
>>16723957
ive seen guys these lefties love call people faggots and racist shit, its even on youtube. owens and aj styles have tons of clips of them doing it, they dont care because they dont know

its just because its popular to hate hogan now. other wrestling fans tell you to boo him

LA boos Hogan and then LA burns down, thats karma my little Hulkamaniacs
>>
why would the "real american" promote substances that kill countless people every day anyway? drugs are good?
>>
>>16723957
This isn’t that hard to wrap your head around anon. It’s Trump. In the grand scheme of things no one listened/watched The Undertaker show with Trump. It’s under a million views worldwide. And he typically draws under 30k. So the majority of hits on that Trump podcast were not wrestling fans. No one associates Taker with him. Everyone in America either saw Hogan at the RNC live, watched clips of it or saw it during the news cycle. If Dana White came out as some sort of TKO cross promotion they probably would have Booed him as well even though he’s less recognizable, Kid Rick probably gets booed in LA.
They booed to that degree because of where they were. If it was Dallas (not Austin) he would have gotten a pop. Detroit he would have gotten a pop. Any working class coastal city or middle American city and it either wouldn’t have happened or not nearly as severe. No one cares that he lies about shit or that he’s a shit stirrer or said the word 20 years ago to the degree that California queers loathe Trump.

Hulk Hogan is the face of professional wrestling. There have been larger-than-life stars before (Jim Londos, Bruno, Backlund) and after (Austin with his 98/99 mega-peak, Rock and Cena with cross-over appeal, even Roman to some extent) but when non-fans think of wrestling, they think of Hulk Hogan. He was a case of right guy, right place, right time as his infectious energy and persona melded perfectly with the landscape of 80s America and immortalized his place at the top.
>>
>>16723957
None of that matters, because if he wasn’t Hulk Hogan no one would care and no one would be booing or cheering. His mere presence can work a crowd, whether he’s getting massive boos or massive cheers. And for that reason alone he isn’t going anywhere. If all his detractors shut up and ignored him he’d go away, because the thing that kills a career in wrestling isn’t heat or even X-Pac heat but apathy and ambivalence.

Hogan isn't really that big. Most dudes I know default to Undertaker or Cena these days. Even Batista is bigger than Hulketty.
>>
>>16723957
So explain why he didn't get booed in his previous appearance
>>
>>16723957
People forgave Michaels because he's willing to acknowledge that he was a piece of shit, and because of his comeback run where he kept having great matches with everyone
>>
>>16726957
I guess there's kind of an upside to showing real contrition and being incredibly talented at what you do.
>>
>>16726881
Exactly. Hogan put himself out there in his support for Trump. He did multiple press tours and he was prominent at the RNC. This is why troonville booed him. Not some stupid leaked secret recording from years ago that most of the casuals in the crowd don't even know about.

>So the majority of hits on that Trump podcast were not wrestling fans.
Correct. Taker didn't broadcast his support like Hogan did. The Undertaker's podcast is small. I doubt anybody in the troonville crowd even knew Taker had a podcast let alone that Trump was on it and that Taker endorsed Trump.
>>
>Every wrestling fan by now knows Flair called Teddy Long the word
No one knows who Teddy Long is and more people have have seen the Hogan news than some shoot interview clip on youtube you fucking retard
>>
Hogan saying the nigger word was turned into a big deal, that's literally it.

If Flair saying the nigger word or Austin beating every woman he sees was suddenly turned into a big thing that morons on twitter can't stop talking about, the basic sheeple would instantly hate them too.

Hell, Flair was already kicked out of WWE just because the fucking plane thing that everyone had talked about for the last 20 years suddenly became a thing with twitter morons.
>>
It’s amazing seeing trannies constantly moving the goal posts with Hogan. They went from bragging about how he got canceled to desperately insisting that it’s okay that he didn’t get canceled because no one likes him anyway. Wonder what the next cope will be

no ain't a Texan, you paki
Real Texans love Hogan
>>
If WWE is smart, they would keep it going. Have him look more upset every week. Use that heat to turn him heel/Hollywood again. Have him trash the fans for booing him after giving so much of his life to the business. "WWE wouldn't even exist anymore if it wasn't for me." Since he can't wrestle, have him lead a stable or something.

Problem is Hogan is legit crippled and too expensive. If neither of those were true they could do this.
>>
>>16727266
it’s go away heat not wrestling heat. wwe knows this. he will never return.
>>

>Tampa
One of the few hyper liberal areas in the state. Even Broward is less liberal.
>>
>>16724077
Sometimes doing the right thing doesn't make you popular, brother.
Did you really need this afterschool special-tier moral lesson explained to you?
>>
>>16723957
It's 97% the Trump thing, and 3% that he took down a far left propaganda mill - and far left propaganda is a favorite of the evil subhuman scum that live in Commiefornia
>>
>>16727271
You don't know what you're talking about
>>
For me, it is mostly the sum of Hogans entire misdeeds over the decades that one day resulted in these audience reactions. People that don't understand this may only know Hulk Hogan. But I guess they don't really know "Terry Gene Bollea". The list of scandals around him goes way back in the 80's.
So just saying: "he was just booed because he supports Trump" does not really hit the spot.
>>
Who
>>
>>16726610
>He got booed because he literally showed up to shill his shitty alcohol and that's it.
HBK once showed up dressed up like Colonel Sanders and dancing around the arena to shill KFC. Crowd popped for him
>>
>>16727203
>No one knows who Teddy Long is
Dude was the fucking onscreen Smackdown GM for years when Cena and Batista were in their primes. Every wrestling fan knows Teddy because of that
>>
>>16727271
>he will never return.
You idiots said this same shit right after his racism scandal broke, lmao
>>
I have a very difficult time believing that Hogan didn't know he was gonna get booed in blue-state Cali so fresh off of his much-publicized Trump support
Hogan couldn't be that stupid or have that big of an ego to not at least expect SOME boos. Maybe he expected more of a mixed reaction as opposed to clear boos
