If you were 13-14 like I was then it was the worst time in all of wrestling, I fucking hated HHH and I hated Randy Orton too. But he did get Batista over with me so in retrospect I appreciate that. Also there was no one else who could have done it at the time.

Triple H after 2005 was worse than the reign of terror. This dude would randomly beat cena during the supercena run for absolutely no storyline payoff just to prove he could. Evolution was at least a good storyline

Moreso than the title reigns, the RoT for me is more about the very boring 13-minute promos to start every other Raw for 3 whole years where he basically said the same shit in 50 different ways. Looking back it wasn't terrible because Smackdown was usually much better every week. 02-04 Smackdown had better matches and a more free-for-all atmosphere that wasn't bogged down by "authority figures". Much better PPVs as well. Hell, even within dual-brand PPVs, Smackdown was better (see the HHH/Steiner shitshow at RR 03 - the very next v match was Angle/Benoit).

Gaych's reign is what killed wrestling for me back in the day. There was just no point in watching any of his matches or segments, so I just started tuning them out. Eventually I just turned the show off entirely.
