>and that's what killed WCW Really?
making budget smaller killed it
Jenna Ortega (5'1")
>>16750833my dick accepts to job to her feet
>>16750779When is she debuting? and in which fed?
>>16750779What killed WCW>No blow off to the wolpac Hollywood feud>killing off Goldberg by ending the streak with cattleprod bullshit>killing off nash by ending the streak with cattleprod bullshit This all happened on one night
>>16750969and was all of this booked by Nash and not Bischoff?
>>16750852I bet they would fit entirely in your mouth
>>16750985Nash didn't take the book until after russo came, left and bischoff regained power. This was hogan/bischoff/sullivan booking.
>>16750779WCW was killed because Turner merged with AOL and execs didn't want wrestling anymore. They sold off WCW to WWF below market value before Bischoff could organize financing to make the purchase himself.WWF was doing plenty of the same shitty stuff WCW was doing. Under other circumstances it would have had a lull, regained its footing once it created new stars, then probably had a resurgence. That's the natural cycle of the business.
>>16751062Should be noted that once WCW dropped off the face of the earth, people tuned into WWF/E for a while until they stopped watching because too much talking not enough wrestling.
>>16751062Despite what Bischoff thinks, the blood of WCW is on his hands for letting Hogan and friends sap the soul out of it to the point of being unwatchable.
>>16750779Why does Hogan always get the blame? all those failures blaming the draw. shameful sour grapes
>>16751062WCW wouldn't have been a target if it wasn't losing 8+figures in 2000. When a company is hemorrhaging like WCW was it became an easy target in corporate restructuring. Not that it wasn't torpedoed but creative was well the shitter for all of 99 and 00>>16751068A lot happened between 17-18 that lead ti the lull>stone cold gone for a year>comes back>wins strap>turns heel No one wanted that but they also didn't>want to get the f out>want Stone Cold in the midcard>want an ECW ran by steph>Want WCW vs WWF to be a proxy for mcmahon drama>Want WCW invasion to be headed by undercard shitters like shawn stasiakBut what really killed it? No flipping. The Monday night wars were top kino because>tune into Nitro and watch the cruiserweight flipperinos and one of 3 nwo Promos for the first hour>flip to raw >when raw gets boring flip back to Nitro>debate with yourself which main event sounds better and watch thatFlipping between wrestling shows on Mondays was everything. Even in 2000 I'd turn off an xpac segment to laugh at WCW's weird gimmicks.>Oh one more thingJeff Jarrett getting the strap in WCW did more damage to the product than David Arquette. Jarrett should get the Russo treatment 10x more than Russo.
>>16751276Those are extremely fair counterpoints. It was a complex situation with many causes. Still, I think people who didn't watch WCW think it was much worse than it really was. Lots of wrestling companies go through ups and downs, but WCW's was particularly precarious. When it was good, though, it was great.
>>16751345Yeah and I was more trying to add than counter you, I think we'd both agree time warner sold WCW to WWF for a song so some other company wouldn't take it and make it another embarrassment for TW. My main point is that wrestling was good and popular when you had two companies competing on the same night. The NFL still uses this model on Sundays.
>>16751418I had such high hopes when AEW came onto the scene that it would be WCW II. Didn't happen, sadly (although I'm glad for people who enjoy it), but I'll always hope for a proper successor.
>>16751268Probably because he used his contract clauses to make the show worse.
>>16751441I thought it was pretty decent until they traded out cody for punk (I was lapsed from 2002-2015 so I wasn't a punk guy). It wasn't WCW 2.0, but that's just like how Austin was Hulk 2.0. AEW was a weird indy fed ran by wrestlers and it was enjoyable purely because it felt different. But the more central of a character tony became (particularly with the loss of cody) the more it shifted into feeling like a smark only fed. It been trying to imitate NJPW workrate with WWE showman style impact. So now it just feels like an unending parade of Seth Rollins matches >a Couple Great matches>A Few Good matches>but mostly long matchesNow it's just ex fed vs indy darlings and that oil and water mix could be kino if not for the fact that>tony has terrible judgement as to what indy, non fed guys to push>Fed guys usually debut, have a small feud then eother sit out their contracts or become the central figures of the "alternative" fedSo now I'm watching mismatched wrestlers who typically wrestle eachother only on TV in long fumblefuck matches and samey storyline that are booked to please the owner/Booker. I could just go watch those years I lapsed of the fed if I wanted to watch a show about booking for the owner.
>>16750779>cropping out the feet.Fuck You.
>that feel when you will never cum on Jenna Ortega's feet
>>16752779
>>16751620I was lapsed 15 years as well, although mine ended around 2019 when I started watching New Japan. Hopped on board with AEW those first couple of years but it became apparent pretty early on that it wasn't going to work for me.Was never a Punk guy either, incidentally.Spot on assessment IMO.
