And he's very inexperienced at this, and hasn't seemed to learn anything from failure yet. If this was WWE, somebody would've told MJF to change up his shtick 2 years ago. It also doesn't help that when AEW pivots, they pivot way too fucking hard and abrupt and ruin all the canon. MJF going back to being a heel should've been done over the course of several weeks, not just a random nut shot to a jobber. And he should've went into detail as to why he turned over the course of a few weeks. Instead, you get the sudden heel turn, a half baked explanation next week, and then he enters a feud with Will Ospreay who had absolutely nothing to do with the turn. They basically erased 2 years of MJF canon and brought him back to where his was in 2020, albeit less over and now his gimmick is exhausting.
