Bully Ray with a legit question.
>>
i don’t understand how it’s a “HUGE” partnership, isn’t it literally just what NXT and TNA have been doing for months now? except now it’s in writing?
>>
AEW is #2? By what metric. And says whom? Since WCW folded, TNA has always been the #2 promotion. That's just facts. Lucha Undeground was #3.
>>
By what metric?
>>
>>16761081
>TNA has always been the #2 promotion
B-b-b-b-based
>>
KEK pigcrip already having a melty itt
>>
AEW is where you go if you actually want to make money as a wrestler, they're the number 1 promotion to work for if you wanna get paid. Only smark incels care about ratings, attendance, profits ect
>>
>>16761119
This. Money? Aew. Fame, and a career? WWE.
>>
>>16761040
>Guy who's paid by WWE pushes WWE rhetoric
Super legitimate guys
>>
If TNA got on a somewhat decent channel yeah.
>>
>>16761125
>Fame
>WWE
Kek they havent had a single mainstream star since Cena left. WWE is so bad at making stars they have to take scrap heap shitters like Penta from AEW
>>
>>16761040
Why of course. The 500 people that watch their show each week and the 250 they get in the building of course poise TNA to be the second place promotion. That's why WWE is partnering with them to exchange talent between TNA and Raw and Sma--huh? What's that? It's only between TNA and WWE's developmental? That's an odd way to treat the second top promotion. This is the stupidest take and I hate that I've even allowed myself to put this much thought into a reply to it
>>
>>16761040
Is TNA even its own separate promotion now in this case? If anything this would just meld it together as an extension of WWE like ROH is to AEW
>>
>>16761136
Look at Jade, they actually ruin your ability to become famous. She had a path to shows/movies before they fucked her aura up.
>>
>>16761166
They are basically an NXT expansion at this point.
>>
>>16761166
TNA is canadian and not for sale
>>
>>16761081
Nice.
>>
>>16761040
that's gonna work redditors into a seethe kek
>>
>>16761040
Why would this give them the number 2 spot? They're as distant to AEW as AEW is to WWE
>>
I predict AEW and TNA will be equal in the ratings sometime next year.
>>
>>16761146
>It's only between TNA and WWE's developmental?
NXT has the #2 rated wrestling show on TV every single week, only behind Smackdown, I don't know what you're smoking.
>>
>>16761388
because bully is a wwe bootlicker trying to farm engagement by shitting on aew
>>
>>16761557
How is he shitting on AEW? He's just saying they're facing some issues as every company invariably does, and this new announcement could help put TNA into a very favorable position.

Bully is based as fuck.
>>
>>16761592
Because it’s an absolutely ridiculous question that he’s posing knowing all the WWE fans will respond to cause they hate AEW. Just like all previous “partnerships”, WWE will eventually buy TNA. In the meantime WWE will continue sending them some NXT jobbers while they poach TNA’s biggest stars. They are nowhere close to being the #2 wrestling company.
>>
>>16761040
the partnership alone isn't going to get TNA back to #2. i think for TNA to realistically dethrone AEW and get back to where it was, it needs to be on a real tv channel.
impact is by far the most popular show on AXS but it still gets no more than like 50k viewers and that's REALLY generous. that's terrible. how does that network even stay afloat? they need to can the whole network and get TNA on an actual channel that people actually have.
the deal might actually end up hurting TNA's chances of getting back there because it does somewhat position the promotion as an official feeder to WWE. it's just developmental now, any stars they might be building will jump ship to the fed even earlier than they would have been able to before.
>>
>>16761644
In Canada they are sportsnet.
>>
>>16761612
No, you're just reaching. You're hypersensitive about AEW and its current position in the wrestling landscape and I don't blame you for being that way. That's causing you to see bogeymen in places where they maybe don't exist. Fine speech regardless.
>>
>>16761663
i'm not canadian but i've heard from canadians that that's somewhat of a big deal, big name network there. and if that's true then that's great, a great first step, but it's just canada - they need to secure something better in the american market.
>>
>>16761040
gotta love the bubster
>>
>>16761081
>By what metric.
valuation
>And says whom?
anyone with eyes? it's just worth more money and draws more than TNA, which is not much of an achievement in 2025. forbes placed it as the third most valuable combat sports promotion, behind UFC and WWE, so second most valuable wrestling promotion

You would be right if Bully didn’t have a history of this.
>>
>>16761551
If they're so excited about all of these TNA names why wouldn't they use them on Netflix? Why wouldn't they use them on Smackdown? Surely they view them as the same caliber of stars as their own talent right?
>>
>>16761773
You know what? I'm feeling charitable so I'll give you a concession here

Dawg, it's still TNA.
Plus the press release clearly says they'll be used across a broad range of WWE programming. Guaranteed we'll see things like TNA people padding out the Rumble this year.
>>
>>16761814
Who said that? You seem to be creating arguments in your head.
>>
>>16761119
>Caring how well the wrestlers are paid
Fucking mong lmao
>>
>>16761799
>Today you've learned about free commercial broadcast television networks versus cable networks
Remember how Smackdown was getting 2 and sometimes even 3 milly on Fox and then it moved off of free tv and over to USA and dropped by an entire milly? The inverse is true as well with NXT moving from USA to the CW. Not out to argue the quality of the shows or which promotion you like and which you don't. I watch both WWE and AEW so I really couldn't give two shits less. But the reality of it is being on free tv does a lot of heavy lifting for viewer numbers. Because of course it does
>>
More people saw the TNA Women's champ on tv then anyone on the entire AEW roster. Hahahaha.
>>
>>16761818
>Guaranteed we'll see things like TNA people padding out the Rumble this year.
Los Matadores padded out the Rumble in previous years. The Prime Time Players padded out the Rumble in previous years. Michael Cole and Pat McAfee padded out the Royal Rumble in previous years. This isn't the crowning achievement you think it is
>it's still TNA
You could've stopped there. None of this news means anything. The agreement was already in place. They already had TNA names in prior year's Rumbles. They still view them as nothing more than a place to pluck talent from when they see someone they want. They're still only going to send the bottom barrel of their own talent over to them in exchange
Moving on
>>
>>16761853
>then
lmfao
>>
>>16761853
And yet even with Dwayne the Rock Johnson promoted they couldn't pull 800k. In fact they even lied about their numbers to try and make it seem closer kek
>>
>>16761872
You're skewed in your argument though, you're only trying to see it through a lens of your own headcanon. Things have worked out great for TNA so far and seemingly it's only going to get better and better for them.

I don't think TNA will ever be the #2 promotion as long as AEW is alive. The highest buy rate for a PPV in TNA's prime doesn't even come close to some of AEW's PPV numbers
>>
>>16762067
Kind of crazy how few people watch the wrestling PPVs.
>>
>>16761040
ahahahhahaa sure it does Bully
>>
>>16762067
60k? Isn't AEWs smallest number somewhere around 60k?
>>
>>16762236
The lowest PPV buy rate for AEW was Full Gear 2019 with 80k buys. These days they typically average around 130k per PPV
>>
>>16762259
To be fair, AEW's numbers are buoyed a little because they include people that watch via iPPVs online, which wasn't an option during TNA's peak. You either shilled out $60 to your cable provider for the PPV or you didn't see the show. There was no cheaper option to pay $8/month to watch on TrillerTV or whatever.
>>
>>16762323
>There was no cheaper option to pay $8/month to watch on TrillerTV or whatever.
AEW doesnt have that though. Even if you buy it via VPN from other countries its still like 30 bucks
