>>16763400Anons will cope but you're right, I was rewatching late 1998-1999 not too long ago and that whole corporate ministry angle stunk up the show every time, the only good thing about it was Taker's theme song.For me it was when the show started really leaning into entertainment crap with backstage talking segments, wrestlers dressed as trannies, crucifictions of fake family members of the talent, and McMahon family soap opera.

It seemed like he was the only guy working with Austin too even though most people assume it was The Rock working him all the time because of the WM matches. I don’t know if it was because Austin was hurt or what but for almost 2 years as soon as he took the belt off Shawn Michaels Austin only wrestled Taker and Kane. The feud was really Austin/Vince but you’d think Taker could get some heat working with the biggest star in the business. He was just putting everyone to sleep.
