Pom's wrestling style is basically a glorified "person who gets the shit kicked out of them and sells a lot" similar to Shino, but Pom is the final ultimate form of this style and the highest you can go in TJPW using it. She is the queen of jobbers and the most powerful among them. In my opinion to reach the titles you need either a serious gimmick (Miyu, Moka) be credible at power moves (Miyu, Miu) be popular (Suzume, Itoh, Arai) or be insanely good at chain wrestling (Shoko, Mizuki, Rika) or some combination of these. A player like Wakana is serious enough, but her main problem is that she's basically trying to run a popular gimmick without actually being popular, and doesn't excel enough at the other stuff to carry her through, which is why she's been mostly jobbing and being disappointed (I'm glad she won though). Toga is both serious and credibly powerful which is why I think she will go far. I know this post will trigger some autists and for that I am sorry.

Also thinking about Wakana, it reminds me that Kamiyu wasn't always great in the ring either and she had to stick around for awhile before she got really good at it. I remember Saki Akai was instrumental in transforming Kamiyu into being a killer in the ring. That Korakuen match they had was when I first noticed Kamiyu looking deadly.
