I wonder how many people who say AEW is nothing like Nitro actually watched WCW because as someone who is making their way through the Attitude Era again, there's actually a lot of similarities. Flippy guys having bangers, very few actual stories outside the very top talent, Eric putting toys back in his toybox after a few weeks, PPVs had a lot of bangers with very little build, roster was way too big and lots of talent getting lost in the shuffle.
