No other pro wrestling company is still drawing on traditional PPV like that these days.

Got a source that isn't Meltzer? Of course not

that's assuming $60 a pop, but Yuropoors get cheaper prices
plus some people might use VPNs

Weren't they hovering in the 150s for a long time? Why the crash?

No. All of these numbers are complete self-reported horseshit. They're less than half at least, probably less. Keep in mind that AEW got kicked off of DAZN 1 year into a 3 year deal because no one was buying PPVs on there.

>>17509783
>Dynasty does 110-120k PPV buys
>source: dude trust me
AEW's PPV buys have declined right along side all of AEW's other metrics because that's what happens when interest in a wrestling promotion wanes. Meltzer should have pulled a more realistic number out of his ass desu.

Full Gear 2019 allegedly did 100,000 and that took place when Dynamite was pulling far more viewers and demo share than they are now. AEW is the least popular it has ever been and its B/C-tier PPVs are somehow doing greater numbers despite every other one of their popularity metrics being in the gutter?

How the fuck do marks lack common sense to this extent? It's baffling.
>>
Their last PPV did 50k less than last year, and Dynasty did 122k buys in 2024.

They did 11% less buys per PPV in 2024.

And of course, these are all made up numbers as the PPV company doesn’t release them, they aren’t audited per event, and AEW doesn’t have audited financials.
