https://whatculture.com/wwe/wwe-scrapped-plans-for-the-miz-vs-joe-hendry-tna-crossover-storyline-wwe-news

>According to a new report from Fightful Select, WWE had serious plans in place for a crossover storyline involving the current TNA World Champion and the 'A-Lister', but the angle was ultimately scrapped before it ever aired. The report reveals that earlier this year, there was a creative pitch for Joe Hendry to appear on WWE Raw, with the Hendry ultimately ending up involved in a storyline with The Miz following a loss in a match between the two.

>However, the idea never got off the ground. Sources indicate that Ariel Schnerner, a since-deposed TNA executive - wasn’t on board with the proposed direction, reportedly objecting to the concept, possibly due to Hendry’s expected loss. As a result, the storyline was nixed before it could move forward. Interestingly, Fightful noted that a separate incident involving WWE NXT talent who had requested Schnerner not be present in their locker room at the height of the ongoing NXT/TNA crossover. The report added that the request wasn’t due to personal issues, wrestlers reportedly felt the space should be reserved for talent only.

dude just job your world champion out to the miz lmao you know like a joke aha

unlike aew, wwe knows how to introduce TNA stars in WM week for maximum exposure even tho they gonna job
>>
The rare correct TNA business decision

Evil company

yes, AEW collabs then permanently kills off any exposure chance with njpw and tna. i dunno how the jumping beans fed survive against tony kwab

>Bbbbut AEW
>>

>WWE nixed plans
>it was actually a TNA executive
>>
>>17513299
weren't piggiEs swearing up and down this shitter was the next big thing?
>>
the TNA world champ getting chucked out of the Rumble by Roman is perfectly fine
however, the TNA world champ, even if it's Joe fucking Hendry, should not be jobbing to the Miz
>>
>TNA world champ is thrown out in seconds at the rumble
>Asked to job to Miz in a random Raw
>Currently feuding with Ethan fucking Page for the world title
This partnership seems more like WWE putting TNA in their place as below even their developmental
>>
>>17513426
they should have given him a better rumble performance tbdesu. yes roman can throw him out but give him more time and maybe let him eliminate a jobber. jordynne had a better performance in 2024.
>>
>>17513426
Miz is a former world champion, and Hendry probably would've won the feud in the end. They could've had their world champion on Raw and they chose not to. LOLTNA is forever.
>>
>>17513483
Miz has been a lower Midcarder for years and even his last world title ""run"" was transitional. Stop pretending Miz has been anything but a glorified jobber for the last 15 years.
>>
>>17513426
it starts out with a loss you stupid nigger, he was gonna win the feud.
>>
>>17513483
>Miz is a former world champion
Oh fuck off with that. He's been irrelevant since 2010, his world championship win was an afterthought.
>>
Kek no refunds. No sympathy for anyone who enters a partnership with WWE

his 5 minutes of fame is over. he belongs in AEW

...

TNA fumbled his moment

Any goodwill TNA had left died when Scott left. WWE and AEW just picking at the carcass at this point.

So Impact loses their champ and WWE turns a guy who's over with their fans into a jobber like Zach Ryder. Quite the partnership you got there
