The trip was long and dangerous, through endless perils in the realm of death, you traversed waters and wastelands until you found the portal. Through blood sacrifice you cleansed your tribe from the taint of the demons who enslaved your people. Your most powerful shaman Kuzmar The Wise made the ultimate sacrifice and channeled his very soul into the portal to serve as the guide for your channeled anger to breach a hole through the devil's aether net that kept you in bondage. For a brief moment you thought you had failed for all you saw was a blinding white light, but in time your eyes grew accustomed to your new surroundings - a land covered in 'snow', a substance you had never seen before accustomed that you were by taking your drinks almost boiling but that you quickly learned was just frozen water.
Not all of your people managed to escape. The stunt caught the attention of the demon lord who sent his forces after the breakaway slaves. It was a slaughter, but that too was according to plan. The souls slain in the process weren't taken by the demons, but channeled out of the demon trap. In death, your people knew freedom. Now a faint pantheon of ancestors began to form, every orc that falls in battle being added to this collective entity.

But now you must hurry! It is only a matter of time until the demons learn a way to come into this world to reclaim your kin as slaves. And if there is one thing the demons never do is forgiving...

There are currently three tribes of orcs. You have been chosen as the leader. In times of peace, you can issue one general directive for each tribe. You can control your own tribe with more detail, if you so desire. In times of war, you are expected to lead the armies into victory! Defeat is not acceptable. If you are defeated, expected to be replaced by a worthier orc.

You had a brief confrontation with a dwarven hold that mines silver in this region. They sent us some fish as tribute showing proper respect and so we decided to not attack them for awhile. As far as we know, there are no other civilization nearby in the tundra, but expanding our population here is slow due to food scarcity.

Who are you?

Arriving at Turak Tribe for a visit, you talk with Dorn about the dwarves.
"Another threat menacing us that is for sure. But we can crush them, no problem! We just need to gather the warriors."
Once you request from him some food and suggest your people could breed with his tribe to produce stronger warriors he seems please.
"Yes, warchief. We found some fish in the sea nearby and as such we have lots of food available. We've been hoping to tap into that potential by growing our numbers. If you wanna send some of your people to our tribe to bolster our numbers that would be very welcome."
> Send some of your orcs to Turak tribe (lower you tribe population, increase Turak population, improve Turak attitude, improve your food score due to lower population)
> Ask that they send you food instead (decrease Turak food score and attitude, increase your tribe food score)
> Do not send orcs to Turak tribe nor ask them for food

The Gruk tribe receive your emissary asking them to start experimenting on the local environment, flora and fauna. The emissary returns saying: "The shamans were hoping to improve their magic, as it doesn't seem to work the same here as it worked on the other side, but they will do as you command, warchief."

Exploration of the surroundings by a group of five grunts reveal deposits of Silver and Iron amidst several Caves some of which are part of a vast Cave Network which you have not explored fully. The caves are also home to several strange creatures that avoid the light which your grunts haven't had the chance to adequately identify and strange variety of Fungus. The tundra has some Trees which you could cut down, and you also find some Hot Springs where weird Monkeys like to take long baths. Wandering around the frozen tundra you find some animals - Yaks, Elks, Bighorn Sheep, Walruses and White Bears.

You find a human fishing settlement far in the east, they have longboats and look like a warrior people. The grunts decided not to contact the humans

You also find a tall tower to the north. At first your grunts thought it was abandoned, but when they tried to kick the door down a human wearing some kind of purple dress opened it. They did not understand the language he spoke, although the man somehow seemed to understand them. He gifted the orcs some potions showing proper respect and sent them away.

An emissary from the Gruk tribe shows up and says their hunters have sighted a giant flying lizard more than once! They decided to ask the warchief whether they should track the creature or not.

Ten of Turak Tribe's Grunts are sent to investigate the human fishing settlement. They discover that there are very few males there. The men must be waging war across the seas and do not expect an attack in such an isolated location.

Ten of Gruk Tribe's Grunts are sent to investigate the monkey hot springs. The monkeys are very chill and don't appear to be afraid of anyone approaching them. They eat some Blue and White Berries that grow around the hot springs and seem to be living an easy life. A Red Berry grows there as well but the grunts never saw the monkeys eating it.

Attempts are made to domesticate some yaks and walruses! You construct pens and keep them inside, assigning people to feed them. Herding the yaks grazing proves not too difficult, some yaks have strong personalities but they do adapt easily to being domesticated. The walruses prove more troublesome, as they easily escape into the sea when we take them there to eat. The issue is further complicated by the fact that your tribe is not very near the ocean, so the walruses will just starve in here.
> Take the walruses to Turak Tribe which is near the ocean
> Dig a giant pit to keep the walruses
> Give up domesticating walruses

Commands are issued to the orcs to stay away from the giant flying lizard.

Dorn comes to your settlement to talk to you.

"Ah warchief! Time is ripe to build a navy and explore the high seas! With your approval I will now strip the nearby forest bare and start building trirremes!"

> We need a larger army before we build any ships, focus on training grunts instead
> Build fishing ships to harvest the bounties of the sea instead
> You have my blessing, warbrother, build the trirremes

apologies for the delay, I've been more busy than expected, I might update in more random times for awhile

seems we have a tie

1 - reject navy, send walruses to turak tribe
2- build navy, dig giant pit
>>

You dig a giant pit to keep the walruses!
You tell Dorn he has your blessings to build the triremes. He orders his people to start constructing them at once!

Ten Grunts from Pyrak Tribe are sent to establish a camp by the caves to identify the creatures within, together with a shaman from the Gruk Trube to research the strange fungus!

They discover that the some varieties of the fungus are edible while others are poisonous. It is not too difficult to differentiate one from the other once you know which is which, but they grow side by side all over the place. Inside the caves you find some kind of blind "cave cow" that grazes indiscrimately upon edible and poisonous fungus and gives out blue milk. A bunch of weird pale humanoids also exist within the caves, you decide to call them "troglodytes". You do find some signs that the caves have been mined but you aren't sure if the troglodytes would be able to perform such a feat, considering they live half naked and wield flint. Perhaps there is a more advanced creature that lives within the caves which you still haven't seen.

Five Grunts and five Shaman from the Gruk Tribe are sent to establish a camp by the tower so the shaman may attempt to learn the language of the robed occupants. The people there welcome your initiative and spend a few hours a day teaching your shaman their language.

Two Pyrak Tribe Grunts are sent to the hot springs to collect Red, White and Blue berries for the Gruk tribe to research!

The Gruk shamans quickly determine the Red Berries are poisonous. The other berries are edible but might have further unknown properties which they are still studying.

The Gruk Tribe shamans discover a species of mole from which they can brew a healing potion. These moles aren't particularly rare, though in the vast expanse of the tundra finding them takes a long time.
> Change focus to hunting moles to make healing potions
> Just continue researching the local environment
