I think keeping standards for your writing and making sure whatever you write meets them is a good thing, but you can do it more on your own time when you're not writing for 3-5 other strangers. Meaning that instead of having to plan and pump out quality posts every evening for 5 different gucas and use energy that's hard to muster up, while you're not running you just gotta muster up the energy for one guca's worth of quality planning and still feel pretty fulfilled/productiveSo basically simply just not running a quest may help you recharge enough already? Far be it from me to suggest anything here, these are all just my random observations from a third-party perspective that I'm basically just thought-dumping, but from what I can see, the more planning is done, the less effort you gotta do while running the quest itself, which means things run smoother and you theoretically feel less energy-drained forcing yourself to come up with as much stuff on the fly (though of course there's always a baseline level of energy/adaptability required). The flipside of course is the fear of accidentally 'railroading' or feeling like the plans you made are now useless because people did something you didn't expect, but for the second point, the plans you made are never useless since it was still valuable characterization/motivation for the NPCs you made, and for the first point, well yeah that kinda just requires letting yourself go with the flow of natural consequences and trying to leave options as open as possible, probablyDon't really know what I'm trying to say here, but yeah
