As you keep walking deeper into the library, the books are getting...weirder. Some titles you notice include "Knitting with dog hair.", "How to talk to your cat about gun safety." and "Who cut off Grandpa's head?". It has been a while since you saw anyone else and you can't see an exit or sign in any direction>Look for a book about your situation>Just keep walking, you're bound to run into someone/something eventually

>>6127958Highest roll, 8.Since you can't see anyone and are in a library, you decide you might as well look for a book to help you out. You have no idea how long you spend looking or how many rows and shelves you pass. Eventually though you come across a promising lead "How to use the interdimensional library". You take it of the shelf and sit down at a nearby desk that you somehow didn't notice before. As expected from the title it doesn't explain what this "interdimensional library" is or how you got there from your regular library without realizing. However it does explain that it connects to all libraries in several different dimension and that is possible to travel between them, whether it is to one your world or not.Anyway more important it describes how to enter and leave this library. Most of the methods use lingo that you don't understand but there are two methods that are simple enough you can use them, though they both come with downsides. For the first method, you simply have to break the standard library rules until you're kicked out. This will result in a fine though, and from you have read possible fines include but are not limited to bodyparts, indentured servitude, a quest or just money. The other method is that every blank wall connects to a normal library but you lack the info to know where you will end up. Could be your own world but a different country or a different dimension, that said now that you have been here any wall in any library and even some bookshops will act as a portal to the interdimensional library.>Get kicked out> Go through the wall.
>>6127979>> Go through the wall.
>>6127979> Go through the wall.
>>6127979> Go through the wall
>>6127979Deciding that the potential punishments for getting kicked are too high, you pick the wall portal option. Since you have no idea how far you've walked you just try the nearest wall. To your surprise it feels like a bit walking through jello but after a few steps you find yourself back in what looks in a to you normal library. It's filled with humans wearing modern clothing, there are a few computers and the alphabet is the one you know. It's only when you focus on the few signs and book titles you can make out from where you are that you realize that despite it being the same alphabet you don't recognize the language.> You go straight back> You use the computers to try and learn more> You go talk to one of the librarians

>>6128460>>6128611>>6128756Part of you wants to go straight back to the interdimensional library but you decide you might as well try to learn more about where ever you are. You walk up to a free computer and go on the internet. The start up page is still in that strange language but you quickly learn that the computer has google and from there that you're in a world with the English language. You look up a few (historical) facts, George Washington is still the first president, Phineas and Ferb is the most successful Disney cartoon, Bruce Wayne is Batman until you're reasonably sure you're in your own dimension.Using google translate and several words you remember seeing you figure out the unknown language is Dutch, meaning you have to find a way back to America. >Try to look up Interdimensional library>Talk to a librarian>Take the wall back to the Interdimensional library
>>6129007>Try to look up Interdimensional library
>>6129007>Talk to a librarianthe dutch are cruel but will speak english poorly if they have to
>Take the wall back to the Interdimensional library, go through the next wall to the left or rightnow that we've found a wall that leads to Earth, maybe there's a regional thing going on where nearby walls will lead to other places on Earth?

>>6129089Hey my English skills are at least decent, thank you very much.>>6129167>>6129174After thinking it over you decide to just go back, sure you could probably talk to one of the Dutch librarians but you doubt the conversation would be easy even if they know about the whole interdimensional library thing. Hoping you understood the instructions correctly you walk up to the nearest blank wall and the second you're sure no one is looking at you go through it.Once you're on the other side a quick glance at the nearest bookshelf confirms you're seemingly in the place as before, though you can't see the desk you used anywhere. Wondering if the wall portals are proximally you inspect the walls better.Roll me 1d10 BO3 to see if you notice anything.

>>6129554Highest roll, 8.Nothing happens when you just walk up the wall until you are just about to enter it. The colors and patterns change into a map of the Netherlands and what you assume to be the Dutch flag. Since you looking for a particular library on a continent full of them this isn't super helpful but it's better than nothing.Wanting to try out the idea that the portals work based on proximity you try out the wall right next to that one. The flag looks the same but you notice that the Netherlands look a lot smaller. It seems that your idea wasn't entirely wrong but this is less helpful than you hoped. >Look for random books that look interesting or helpful in your daily life>Try to find more info on how this place works>Just start screaming for help and hope that given the circumstances the penalty won't be too high>Look for a portal that will at least bring you back to the right America

>>6130158> Look for random books that look interesting or helpful in your daily life
>>6130777>>6130779Well, the tie has been broken either way but I'll roll next time it comes up, if it comes up again. You go over your options for a while but eventually you decide that since you are in a library you might as well look around for books, who knows what you'll find in this place after all. Not wanting to lose the only exit back to your world that you know off you memorize the titles of some books in the shelf in front of it.Unfortunately none of those seem very helpful what with them being titled things like "Cooking with bellybutton lint" and "Gerbils, the licorice of the animal kingdom". You do find it a bit odd you're in a cookbook section right now and wonder if you're still close to where you found "How to use the interdimensional library", but you quickly find an open spot on another shelf where the book fits perfectly leading you to assume that is where it belongs.Hoping you're right you set out to find some books that will hopefully improve if you ever get back home.Once again roll me 1d10 BO3
