Last time, you challenged the Warden who reigns over Fire Field to a dangerous duel of the highest stakes and risks! You two will face each other in a game of Guess Whom is it?! An original game without a trademark that you can sell to children of all ages… Except the ones who like to eat the tiny pieces of everything, like Ame when she was a little more little and you couldn’t play with your line of plastic construction toys — you’ll never forget the day you had to close down Johnny Airlines™ because that tiny bear kept trying to eat your plastic passengers! They were paying customers, how dare she?!Regardless, the birdy bird moves back to Quye as his side of the board hasn’t appeared yet. The two communicate briefly, a drastic change is about to happen…Flatly, Quye doesn’t want to play the game proper, but the challenge still goes. To make a long story short, you’re playing Guess Who? on Single Player. By relinquishing his role as an active competitor, he negotiated rules changes:>You’re going to play on Quye’s turf on Floor F.>The Prisoners (and some volunteers) will *actually* come over to be a part of this. They will help you out.>During Phase 1, the game revolves around you asking 5 questions to the Prisoners. They’re forced to answer earnestly. This extra information will come in handy for Phase 2 later, so use them wisely. Or don't! You never won a game of Guess Who? by knowing any of those losers' jobs!>During Phase 2, it’s the proper Guess Who? gameplay everyone knows and loves. You ask yes or no questions to figure out Quye’s chosen one. He *can’t* lie. >You have to win in 5 turns or less, or else Quye takes the win. During your turn you can either ask Quye a Yes or No question or guess who his pick is.>As negotiated, Quye can veto one of the questions *only once*. You’re forced to ask something else, *not* lose a question.>You can’t make a question that eliminates more than 8 prisoners with either answer given. (Example: During your first question, you can’t ask the Gender of his pick because it’d eliminate 12 people no matter the answer.) If the number of one gender dwindles to 8 or less, you’re allowed to ask the question however.>The Winner gets a reasonable reward from the loser.
>>6130091“Y-You can do that?” You feel a little cheated here.“Sounds like plain old cheating to me!” Crossbill adds. The Birdy Bird feels offended.“We’re at the mercy of the umpire. If it finds it reasonable, it doesn’t object.” Quye retorts.“What about me? Can I say something about it?” You wonder.“You’ve already chosen the initial rules. Leave your objections for another time.” Quye walks back into the hole with the bird following him.“I really thought I wouldn’t go in there again…” Crossbill sighs. She’s coming along like a good buddy. “Come on, let’s follow him.”“Don’t worry! We’ll be here to support you, Phil!” The Markgician raises his fist! Guy is too curious how this will go to leave you dry. The rest of the crew cheers you on through your earpiece.Once you’re down there back at Floor F, the questions to the Prisoners will begin. The Magic Board hasn’t been updated yet with everyone’s profiles, you can see their names, with a couple being familiar! Carmella, Nina’s former best friend and kidnapper of Billies is here! Judith, the Foreigner Interpol agent you just met too! Guess it’s not all prisoners after all. And… Dylan! Dylan is here! How can you forget Dylan?! It’s Dylan! DYLAN.What do you want to ask this bunch of strangers?>Ask if they do Sports.>Ask who is Left Handed.>Ask if they have any siblings.>Ask their ages.>Ask why they got in here.>Forget starting with a question. This rule doesn't apply to the last reply of the day.Votes that require a dice roll are counted until 15 minutes have passed, so we can speed up the process. Rolls are counted until 10 minutes have passed, so be prepared! (NEW) Dice Mechanic: We always roll 1d100s!Since most people weren’t happy with the system of averaging top four rolls, we’re using best of 2/3/4 depending on the attribute a prompt requires. If Johnny is a genius and it’s a Knowledge based roll, he gets more rolls (Max. 7)! If he sucks, he gets less dice (Min. 2)! When asked for rolls, I will specify how many you’re going to get. Rolling begins after it’s asked. Rolling 100 is a critical! There are no Critical Failures anymore! The difficulty of the roll is tied with the effectiveness of the action. In other words, the harder the option the better the result! Don’t forget that at the end of the day, this is a story-driven quest! What the prompts are describing is more important than the difficulty of the rolls, for results in a fight. Again, rolls are only counted when they are posted within ten minutes of being asked, so watch out!

As you go through this manhole, you reflect back to the time you thought you were escaping a prison. Sensible times. Now you have to play a dumb game of your choosing down in Fire Field. You guess sinners like you can’t escape hell.At the circular area that connects all the hallways in Fire Field, you stand on a magical podium made by the Judge Bird. It’s transparent with a dim blue light, same as the Magical Game Board you’re using. On it, you have the high ground to look at the prisoners. It would’ve been better if you used Quye’s watchtower, but the big jerk refused to lend it. Maybe he has embarrassing photos in there, like his girlfriend’s picture on his locker’s door. Saying he has a girlfriend is already a stretch to you, but you never know! The Prisoners (and some volunteers) were already waiting, talking among themselves — not specially surprised, but certainly annoyed at the prospect. It’s a regular occurrence for many. You wonder what gives, maybe the fact they are handcuffed. As everyone’s attention is gathered to the podium, your magical board updates with everyone’s pictures. The names match the people you were expecting, now it’s time to get everyone on the same page.Quye introduces the rules dryly and succinctly. He’s used to speaking down to people and that’s not going to change. Awfully nice to do it instead of the bird, perhaps he wants to get this over with as quickly as humanly possible, he has no idea he’s facing you — if there’s something you learned the last few days is that you can last a long ass time doing something!“Questions. Now.” Quye follows the bird’s guidelines. Some people raise their hands.“We got it, we’re playin’ another of the creep girl’s games. Whatever.” Prisoner Gregory shrugs, he’s as enthusiastic as the warden about this.“Error. Your statement is incorrect. I’m NOT behind this.” The Warden Annelien shakes her head. Creepy looking lady. “Eager to participate, regardless.” She loves games! Bubbles confirms she’s the one who is controlling the Behemoth. You see a dark flame around her hips.“Huh?! What?!” A good portion of the prisoners are surprised.“I said questions.” Quye wants to move on. He randomly gives a certain special someone the stage.“Yes, I have an inquiry.” Judith had her hand raised still. “I was about to step outside. Did I get teleported here?”The Birdy Bird chirps and nods.“Ah. What a lovely specimen.” Judith snaps a picture of the bird. The bird poses accordingly. “Did you intend to say ‘yes,’ my feathered friend?”The Birdy Bird tweets. That doesn’t really answer anything.“Move on.” Quye wants to move things along.
>>6130589“Can we, like, decline?” Prisoner Darwin raises his hand. His voice is very dull. He’s also a flame user.“No. Next.” Quye continues surveying.“Do we get anything for participating? Like our freedom? Or nothing as usual?” Prisoner Beth asks.“...One extra dessert next meal. Next.” Quye is nice enough to give them something. A couple of prisoners look happy.“It was worth the shot...” Beth giggles with bad intentions.“Next.” Quye has no time for this.“Us who are — temporarily — on the lawful side, what do we get?” A bulky guy named Hanno asks. He’s also a flame user. Many of them today. One caveat, his is white but with a black center… How mysterious. Like the Calamity.“My thanks. Next.” Quye deadpans.“Are we getting it in writing or is being respectful in person a problem for you?” Officer Cocoa asks aggressively. She doesn’t seem to like the Warden’s attitude.“In writing. Enough questions from you lot.” Quye doesn’t even entertain her, and moves things along. He stares at you and leaves the floor.“Hello, I’m the one playing. Call me Phil.” You wave at the group; Judith, Hanno, Iris, and Tihana wave back. “If you don’t like this jerk, you should help me out by answering honestly. Now, first question, do you guys have any siblings?”“Heh, of course not! I’m a lone wolf! Tell ‘em, Square.” Prisoner Roundbert, who looks identically like Prisoner Squarefelix, denies.“Yeah, no.” Prisoner Squarefelix, who looks identically like Prisoner Roundbert, agrees with his not-sibling. Everyone can tell this is a lie, you don’t even know why you’re pointing it out.“Screw your game! We have no reason to be honest!” Prisoner Roundbert laughs. But after that, they both get electrocuted! The Bird wants everyone to follow the rules.“OKAY, WE’RE BROTHERS!” Roundbert admits his faults withstanding the pain.“The best of.” Even while electrocuted, Squarefelix maintains his chillness.“I’M SORRY FOR EVER DENYING YOU...!!!” Roundbert apologizes as the brothers embrace. This makes the electrocution even worse somehow. But then, it ends...“...We got the memo.” Prisoner Walter looks down on the dead duo (they’re not dead yet.)“Human rights have never been one of this prison’s concerns.” Prisoner Wigmar doesn’t like the risk within this game.

>>6130593It’s probably too late to get other anons to vote for this, but…“What’s your favorite type of dessert?”
“Very good. Very good.” You write it all down on the board with the phantom pen. This surely will help in the next Phase! “Let’s throw you guys another softball: What’s your most traumatic experience?”Chatter breaks out, and every single participant is appalled by this idea. At least mildly conflicted.“Bahahaha~! Why would I spill my guts out to ya, kid? Skull Crusher Brutus’ lips didn’t dance to the police’s tune, they won’t entertain the idea with yours.” Prisoner Brutus rejects the idea outright.“I don’t know, guys. It could be a good bonding experience for everyone involved! Everything said here will stay a secret.” You act like you’re holding an AA meeting.“At least invite us to drink to loosen up first!” Prisoner Sasha snaps her fingers.“Influential people have perished just by knowing my name. Don’t push your luck, guard.” Prisoner Dunga has nothing but contempt for you. Oh yeah, they think you’re a guard, no wonder why some of them are on edge.“I'd rather die than tell YOU anything!” Carmella is pissed at you.“I concur. I intend to keep my secrets to the death. I’m fairly close to my objective, wouldn’t you say? Why give up now?” Wigmar has a good laugh.“Then die.” Quye doesn’t have any chill. “Your corpses are enough for our purposes.”This takes some courage out of the crowd.“W-Woah, woah, woah! Everyone! Hold up! This electrocuting stuff isn’t messing around. It’s so damn painful, I lost my groove, found it again in the afterlife, and came back rocked. We aren’t joking!” Roundbert doesn’t want anyone to suffer like he did.“No, sir. We aren’t.” Squarefelix does an X with his arms.“Let’s not do anything rash. I promise I won’t tell anybody. Please, mind your health.” Prisoner Tihana doesn’t want to see anyone hurt.“To my people, anyone who dares to break a promise will be cast aside for life. I won’t say a word.” Prisoner Walter says to give everything more levity as he bows.“Why are you lot being so melodramatic?! Just tell him to change the question for stars’ sake!” Carmella wants to force you to change your mind.“No. The rules are clear. Now answer the question or die.” Quye has enough dilly-dallying. The Birdy Bird looks like it has no intention of putting anyone to a permanent end, but they don’t know that.“Mr. Phil Noon, I’m choosing to trust you. Shall I start?” Judith breaks the uncomfortable silence.
>>6130706And so everyone sat around in a circle and told everyone their most traumatic memory. As weird as it is to say, you were right! People really went out there and bonded together over sharing their grief. What a beautiful moment… (The answers are in the pic.)

“Thanks?” You don’t know where this comes from, but you have to respond accordingly to not raise animosity.“Next question.” Quye demands the game to continue.“I wanna ask for their ID cards, how can I phrase it?” You ask the Warden.“…” He glares back, unsure if taking you seriously is worth the hassle.“I mean, if I ask if they can hand them over, they can just decline, right?” You point out.“Tell them to give you their card or be tased.” Quye actually helps you out. Feels like you’re begrudgingly working together more than against each other during this phase…“Woah, thanks!” You smile. He can’t see it under the mask. Well, the mask is always smiling, so it must count for something. “Were you part of the highway patrol or something before working here?”“I’m not going to entertain your nonsense. Ask the question.” Quye has had enough of you.“R-Right…” You bet his locker room girlfriend loves hanging out with him... “Will you lovely people hand me over your State ID cards or be mercilessly tased to smithereens? I accept passports or driver’s licenses.”“Screw you, coppo! This isn’t cool!” Legendary Prisoner Dylan is annoyed. Most of the room groans as well.“It has to be said: this is tremendously unsexy behavior and I have low standards after being locked in here for a while.” Tatianna is very disappointed.“I thought you were different, *sniffs*, but you’re just like every other guard…!” Brutus is almost in tears. He trusted you, but you’re like every cop he has ever known.“H-Hey, it’s just an ID check. Why are you lot moping so much about it? It’s a regular procedure.” Officer Cocoa wonders. The crowd jeers at her.“O’ course the cop doesn’t get it...” Prisoner Gregory shakes his head.“E-Everyone, I-I think someone stole my wallet…!” Prisoner Iris is looking through all her pockets.“What? We aren’t allowed to carry our wallets in here…” Prisoner Zyra points out.“Ya! They took our loot at the gates! Remember?” Prisoner Sally reminds Iris. They’re awfully nice to Iris despite the dumb assumption.“And they only hand over our Inmate IDs when we get visitors…” Prisoner Zyra adds.“Then how are we supposed to comply…? I-I don’t want to be tased.” Iris is afraid.
>>6131224“May I propose that the strongest supporter of ID checks should find them for us?” Prisoner Solomon cheekily suggests as he points at the policewoman.“Huh?! Me?!” Officer Cocoa didn’t expect the tables to be turned.“Don’t falter now! Believe in your ideals!” Prisoner Solomon chuckles.“P-Please, don’t make me lose what’s left of my faith in the police institution...!” Brutus can barely contain his tears.“This shady prison wasn’t enough for that?” Beth is puzzled.“You guys had hope at some point?” Prisoner Darwin can’t be bothered.“F-Fine, I’ll go! Just hang in there, everyone! I won’t let you down!” Cocoa runs extremely fast to grab the elevator.“...I was about to propose to accompany her.” Judith missed her cue.Cocoa returns with everyone’s IDs in a box, after everyone agrees to show them to not be electrocuted, you learn valuable information about everyone! You ignored the useless details though. Also, Cocoa, Judith, Hanno, and Annelien showed you their wallets. To not put more time to waste, the IDs are returned to each prisoner until the game’s over. Crossbill comments how easy it’d be to steal them back…

“Right, don’t worry about it.” You promise to Mr. Rahul. You’re forbidden from assisting him with the questions.” Quye will be happy for you to disobey so he can tase you all.“It’s not about that, I want to make sure I’m not imagining things.” You clarify.“Didn’t you say it’s at the bird’s discretion, baldy? Leave us be, shuush.” Crossbill wants him to stop being a nuisance.“…” Quye turns his eyes to the Birdy Bird, who in turn flies to your side of the stage. It’s going to make sure you’re not doing anything illegal. “What are we looking at?” Mark wonders. You point at the board with the information updated for a certain prisoner. “Oooh~ I see it!”“It checks out, right?” You wonder.“It does!” Mage checks his clock. Crossbill is mildly confused, but she trusts you two in whatever you’re doing. You clear your throat. “Everyone! Before we continue, I just found out that today is a special day for a certain lady among us.” You point at Beth in the crowd! “Ms. Beth, please, come over to the stage!”“Hm, me? How come?” Beth is forced to follow procedure, you help her onto the stage.“What now?” Quye knows this is nonsense.“Today is Beth’s birthday!” You cheerfully say.“Happy birthday!!!” Agent Mage throws confetti out of his pockets!“That’s what you meant!” Crossbill nods to herself. “Bastards don’t have any calendars hanging around… Bet no one locked in here knows what day it is.”“You’re joking? Is this what this is about...?” Beth is deeply confused.“I don’t accept jokes in my territory. Stop wasting my goddamn time.” Quye wants to strangle you.“R-Right. Why bother?” Beth chuckles at this stupidity.“I’m not! I want everyone to sing to her together!” You turn to the crowd. “Everyone! Let’s sing Happy Birthday to our friend Beth!”“And 1, and a 2, and a 1, 2, 3!” Crossbill leads the way as the master of ceremonies. And so, all the people present started singing Happy Birthday together with all their hearts! The notable exception is Quye, the most cynical of them all are not putting their hearts into it at worst. Though, several people here are really getting into it, isolation truly makes these bonding moments more memorable. And the most touched about all this is the birthday girl herself, whose tears run down her face. The unity within this group is off the charts, you truly turned this crowd around!
>>6131703[Meanwhile, back at the truck.]“Bubbles, status report on my beloved one?” Agent Cheese-on-Wheels asks the redhead.“…He’s singing happy birthday with all the prisoners on Floor F.” Scarlet deadpans.“He’s…. WHAT?!” Vera and Neko are losing their minds. Even Liu is in shock. Scarlet has no words.“She looks… so joyful!” Liu is glad this random person is having a good time. She’d be mortified in her stead. “I’m… SO… JEALOUS!” Vera wanted that for herself…“Pfft… Plenty of games celebrate your birthday! What’s so great about this?” Neko doesn’t see the big deal.“You never had someone sing you happy birthday?” Liu looks concerned.“Even when I had, it was never great! Nggh, obnoxious even.” Neko has bad memories of her childhood.“...Do you want us to do a party for you?” Scarlet asks the cat woman.“I-I didn’t ask for it, prick! I don’t care for that!” Neko feels like her words were misconstrued.“Liu, write it down in our schedule.” Vera will work on this with the others. Liu nods! And so, nobody really paid any attention to what Susie was trying to say…
>>6131706[Back to Prison.]“Thank you… I mean it.” Beth wipes her cynical tears. The crowd cheers for her! Her soul has been healed!“Soon, we’ll have some cake.” You nod. Beth smiles at your cutesy, but dumb words.“ENOUGH.” Quye puts a brutal stop to this act. His deep voice echoes through the hallways of hell. After the initial shock, he starts getting booed. “Your question. Now.”“O-Okay, sheesh.” You adjust your tie. “Everyone, who here wants to escape this prison with me?!”The Prisoners start cheering you on like you’re their savior! Everyone seems to be on board! Except, you know, the people who aren’t criminals!“He… can do that?” Hanno wonders out loud.“Hold on! He can’t!” Cocoa realizes she shouldn’t be cheering.“He’s merely asking a question to gain support.” Judith, thinking that you’re smart, says.“How… fun it’d be if he was serious.” Annelien robotically giggles.“That’s your game, you lowbrow maggot? Pissing me off?” Quye has decided that he will kill you if he wins. “I won’t entertain your antics any longer.”“It worked plenty.” Crossbill laughs at baldy.“Off the stage, now.” Quye demands your Calvary to step out. “Final question. The booing intensifies.“Big talk from someone who only heard about the sun in fairy tales, you pale oaf.” Birthday girl Beth says as she walks off the stage.“To threaten us with death when we’re celebrating life speaks of a small shameful man…” Prisoner Rahul looks down on Quye.“I dare you to try it, you crystal ball head! I can look into the future through it, and I can see me kicking your fat ass!” Prisoner Sasha threatens.“Or do you prefer to walk the plank?! Hmm?! That may count?” Hanno deadpans. “Because kudos to him, I find it difficult to harbor resentment for anybody this easily.”“I find it astounding how easily people lose control of their emotions.” Prisoner Dunja is annoyed.“KILL THE DICKHEAD!” Carmella wants blood.“We know you play warden because you’re afraid of what will happen to you if you’re back on our side of the bars!” Prisoner Solomon laughs.“Hahahaha! Serves you right, Baldy!” Crossbill cackles.“…” Quye’s flame is a few times bigger than before. “Now, play your game.” Quye crosses his arms and sits down on a spectral chair made by the Bird. You’d do the same, but it feels rude to do that on a stage when everyone is watching. “Ask your question.”“All right, then let’s see.” You look at the board. If you play Guess Whom Is It? the classic way, you should do it by judging everyone’s appearance. “Do they have facial hair? Any facial hair on the target? I’m asking for facial hair…”“No. They do not.” Quye’s answer echoes through the hallways. That means…You look at the crowd and see those who have been eliminated give their final words…“All of this trouble… just for this?” Prisoner Wigmar is done.“Gah! Thank you for the opportunity, but this is not the last you’ll see of me.” Solomon chuckles. “Because… we don’t have to leave, correct?”The Birdy Bird shakes his head. He does chirp that everyone who is eliminated has to throw themselves on the ground and stay there until it’s done. Also, their voices won’t be heard any more until the game is over. The Five men now rest in peace.“Oh. Damn it all and—” Solomon collapses. And so do the others. The bird gave them pillows at the very least.“W-Wait, I forgot to shave this morning, does it mean I’m gone too or—?!” Prisoner Gregory got his answer as he collapsed...“Huh, at least the world is better when Solomon is quiet.” Crossbill shrugs.“We’ll see our friends fall one by one… This is terrible.” Agent Mage’s heart aches.“Enough drivel. >>6131873>Ask if the target is 28 years old or older.
>>6131873>Ask of they have Dark HairMost of the people above 28 were already eliminated by the facial hair question so it won't help us too much
>>6132058Check again >>6131227Theres 7 of them that get eliminated from asking if they are 28 or above while 11 are below it.
>>6132081It would basically be this
>>6132081>>6132088Oh, sorry my mistake, they look younger than they are. I'll switch to >>6131878
>>6131873>Does the target have an "i" in their first and/or last name?If yes then the following (9) will remain: Annelien, Darwin, Dunja, Beth, Judith, Hanno, Iris, Tihanna, Tatianna. If no then the following (X) will remain: Carmella, Sally, Dylan, Cocoa, Walter, Brutus, Zyra, SashaSo...I don't know if that counts as eliminating 8 or more with a single question?
>>6132092If no then the following (8) will remain*
>>6131873>>Write In.Are their ears visible?
>>6132092Isn't there 18 people left? I think you forgot to count Baz. Good thinking with a question for that later on though
“I’m asking again.” You decide it’s not the best time to guess for obvious reasons. “Is this person 28 years old or older?”“No.” Quye’s answer echoes through the hallways once again…For some reason, the people being eliminated are glowing now, it’s time for their last words…“Ha! I’m glad I’m not workin’ for that dirtbag! See you later, boys and girls!” Dylan takes it like a champ.“Maybe I was too lowkey for the warden?” Darwin thought he was the best choice.“S-Should I lay down immediately or what...? I-I don’t want to smack the back of my head…” Iris is parting.“W-Wait, you’re that much older than us?” Zyra didn’t expect the megane woman to be about Nina’s age.“She’s not the only one, love.” Beth is saying goodbye too. “Masked man, I’m cheering you on.”“N-No! D-Don’t leave us! We’re friends!” Sally gets saddened as she hugs Iris and Beth.“We knew you wouldn’t work for that bastard, but this is…” Brutus drops some tears.“Don’t cry for us, we won’t be gone for long.” Beth smiles as her appreciation for her new friends shines.“The Warden will lose, and we’ll be out of here. I know it. Until then...” Walter comes to terms with his end.“...We’ll be back for the encore.” Baz winks as he says farewell.“WAAAAAAAAAALTER!!! BAZ!!!! NOOOOOO!!!” Tatianna can’t take this anymore.“Stop freaking out, for the st—!!” Carmella collapses with the others. She’s gone as well…All 7 make the ground their place to rest.“You’ll pay for this, Warden! You’ll pay for this…!” Brutus points at the goblin man.But the man doesn’t say a word except… “Next Question. Or your guess.” Now that the boos are turning into pure vitriol, he revels in the prisoners’ hate. That’s why he doesn’t correct them, none of this is his fault. But his heart beats with no warmth.
>>61324317 more left… only 11 remain. You have 3 questions left.Due to the number of participants, questions don’t have restrictions anymore. What’s your next question?>Ask if the target is Male.>Ask if the target’s favorite number is above 30.>Ask if the target is a prisoner.>Write In.
>>6132432So 11 leaves us at a weird point. We can either go for a 5-6 split which means the end will probably be a 50-50 split no matter what. Or we can do a 4-7 split and if we call it right we probably guaranteed win with our 2 remaining questions. What do you guys think?
>>6132438Can we do something with other measurements like in >>6131227?
>>6132438My vote's for the 4-7
>>6132448Can we narrow it down further in our favor past that with any other information we're given?
>>6132442I think we definitely can. We have lots of ways to narrow it down! But I'm wondering what our strategy for the future questions should be tooSay we go for>Ask if the target’s favorite number is above 30.That will narrow it down to 5 or 6 which mean we're gonna have to win a 50-50 by the end no matter whatIf we go with something that narrows it down to 7 or 4>Ask if the target is a prisoner. And the answer is no then we guaranteed win with our last 2 questions. I don't think it's a worker here though so we could probably make up another question but I just want us to be on the same page
>>6132448Do you think we should ask if they're a prisoner or another question then. My gut tells me that it isn't a worker here but maybe that's just me
>>6132451I feel like we're going to 50/50 no matter what unless we end up with 3 remaining. I say we go for the 4-7 then. If we end up with 7 remaining, we need to get lucky and split it down to 2-5 or something. So we have 3 questions left, ideally...>4-7>if 4, to 1-3 or 2-2>if 7, to 2-5 or 3-4With 3 questions total left we might be able to make it. Quye still has the right to veto one in which case we'll need to come up with something else to help us
>>6132453Good write up, I agree with everything here. I just don't know how we recover if we end up with 7 left
>>6132457If we get 7 left, then I think it goes like this>7 remain>second to last question>split 2-5 (A) OR split 3-4 (B)>last question>A>if 2, 1-1 = we win>if 5, split 2-3 (50/50 if 2, we're fucked if 3) or 1-4 (win if 1, we're fucked if 4)>last question>B>if 3, split 1-2 (win if 1, 50/50 if 2)>if 4, split 1-3 (win if 1, we're fucked if 4) or 2-2 (50/50 both ways)Going for the 1 is a risky play because if we turn out wrong and we get a 3 or 4 remaining after last question, we're dead. Going for the 50/50 feels like it's what's leading up to unless we get really REALLY LUCKY and the 1 is correct
>>6132458Yeah, so should we go with 4-7 & B? Because even in the worst case possible we can still make it a 50-50, right? I can get behind that. But I still think we should ask a question other than the prisoner one
>>6132464Yeah which is why I'm proposing alternative write-ins like using the statistics from the IDs we got in >>6131227, or the siblings answers in >>6130593
>>6132465The first ones that come to mind are>Does their hair go past their shoulders (Sally, Cocoa, Dunja, Annelien) or if they earrings (Sasha, Tihana, Dunja, and Sally)
>>6132467We'll be going for the 4-7 then. Sound good?
>>6132470I think we're definitely going for the 4-7 and then plan B here >>6132458 yeah. You guys convinced me with the fact that at worst it's also a 50-50. I'm just asking for which question we wanna go for
>>6132432>Do they have earrings?
>>6132432Fuck it do this >>6132474
>>6132432>Write In.Ask if the targets birthday is in the first six months of the year.1/110/294/212/195/198/3012/910/121/1412/292/146 get elminated if it is or 5 if not.
>>6132480Wait can we do this? Won't it still fuck us over into a 50/50 most of the time?
>>6132481We can do that but it still leads us down the 5-6 split
“Next question it is.” You’re ready to cull some more people, hopefully as many as possible. “Is this person wearing earrings?”“Yes.” Quye decides not to veto this one despite the number of people who will be gone now…People are glowing, people are going… Time to part ways for many of them…“I won’t witness the end of the game with my full capacity? This is unacceptable.” Annelien seethes. “Hairless creature, you have ----failed---- me.”“Heh, I didn’t think I’d join you guys so soon…” Tatianna feels melancholic as she looks at the graveyard she’s joining.“Zyra?! N-Not you too! First Beth and Iris, now you and Tatianna! Don’t leave me, p-please...!” Sally is heartbroken.“Chin up, I bet our Masked Man will win next round.” Zyra smirks in her final moments.“Ha! I like those odds! I’m putting all my money on this horse too.” Brutus nods at you.“A savvy bet, I’m certain.” Judith gives you a thumbs up.“Hey, on whose side are you on?” Cocoa feels confused by Judith’s alignment.“Please, take a guess. You know me well.” Judith smiles. She’s acting like she knows that Misty is out of here safe and sound.“I-It’s exactly why I’m surprised.” Cocoa shakes her head.“To be fair, our Warden isn’t exactly a beacon of justice we can be proud of.” Hanno has a good-natured chuckle. He waves goodbye to everyone on the stage. “Our time is up…”“It’s goodbye, then.” Judith collapses…All 7 take an invitation to a dirt buffet…“I don’t understand the mindset of these people.” Dunja plays with her earrings. “We just met.”“Can’t blame ‘em. Can’t join ‘em. These are the rare chances to find some joy in this dump, but to all that is powerful, this is absurd.” Sasha half agrees with the hardhearted woman.“Overthinking joy is like explaining a joke. Just enjoy it!” Tihana comforts Sally, who has lost her real treasure… Friendship!“Please… Masked Buccaneer! WIN...!!!” Sally says from the bottom of her heart.“Phil, you got this!” Agent Mage is still cheering you on.“…” Crossbill taps her earrings, and then winks at you… Is this some kind of signal?“Next question.” Quye still has his veto. If you were him, you would’ve vetoed this question! He must be scheming something to throw you off your game. Or maybe he’s stupid and already lost.
>>61325307 more left… only 4 remain. You have 2 questions left. What’s the next question?>Ask if the target has lighter hair (Sally and Tihana.) >>6132532>Ask if the target is still wearing their earrings. (Crossbill will steal someone’s earrings (Write In who!)) (1-3)>DunjaBecause I think Quye would find her the least annoying and relatable of all the people thanks to her kinda shitty personality with how she doesn't care about this people, and being fairly quiet compared to the rest
>>6132532>>Ask if the target has lighter skin (Dunja and Sally.) (2-2)Let's not throw
>>6132532>>Ask if the target has lighter skin (Dunja and Sally.) (2-2)
>>6132532>Ask if the target has lighter skin (Dunja and Sally.) (2-2)
You shake your head and wave your hand to turn down Crossbill’s scheme. She understandably shrugs and gets comfortable for the final bit.“Quye, my question is…” You smirk. “Does this person have lighter skin?”“...Yes.” Quye grits his teeth! No veto?! Has he thrown in the towel?! With one question left, victory is secured! Two more people begin glowing…“Quyeee! Why didn't you pick me? Too lively for ya?” Sasha laughs at the warden. The man doesn’t say a word back. “Boy is too shy.”“Ah, it’s my turn as well.” Tihana looks at her hand with a strange sense of glee.“Tihana… This can’t be happening…!” Sally doesn’t want this to happen.“Please, don’t look so sad. It’s only going to take a moment.” Tihana smiles back.“But you don’t deserve this! Nobody did and yet…!” Sally can’t handle this.“I’d rather it be me than you.” Tihana grabs Sally’s hands. “Remember what you told me before: Pirates always look forward with a smile on their faces!”“They do not.” Dunja likes her historically accurate pirates.“Dunja, it’s okay to be in contact with your emotions. I know next time we will cooperate with one another, if you’re open to it...” Tihana is incapable of holding any resentment in her body.“Whatever you say.” Dunja realizes no arguments can make any of these people act smarter.“Uff, what a cold-blooded lizard! Nobody enjoys the company of a dispassionate woman! Not even hell can warm your little heart!” Sasha laughs in Dunja’s face.“Good Night.” A detached Dunja retorts as Sasha is brought to the ground.2 more prisoners lose their footing…“Warden Quye, you have realized that this is checkmate, right?” Crossbill starts taunting the big man.“Oh, I didn’t notice! Phil only has to get rid of one person with his last question to win!” Mage realizes. “He still can veto a question though!”“So? These two can’t be more different, you can make 100 questions and the results will be the same.” Crossbill points out.“Do you yield?” You cheekily ask.“Double or nothing. No vetoes. Guess now. Sink or Swim. Show us you are not a coward.” Quye decides to up the bet.“A masterful gambit, Quye. Truly everyone in this room wants to have your respect…” Crossbill is full of sarcasm.“Silence.” Quye wants only to hear the words from your lips. “You get double the winnings. Are you in or not?”

After thinking about his proposition for a moment, you have come to the most sensible conclusion, you can’t get all risky at the end! Everyone in the truck would probably get mad at you for being a tiny bit reckless… Boring those girls are…“So, Quye, I have one question for you…” You adjust your glasses. “Is this person a beautiful pirate? And don’t give me that ‘I don’t think she’s beautiful’ bullshit! She’s gorgeous and you know it!”“B-Beautiful?” Sally blushes a little. “A-ha! Of course, a lover of the sea is stunning! I can conquer more than the waves with my gaze!” The pirate lady has to amp up her act to not feel coy.“You… You dare to ignore my challenge?” Quye is furious by your supposed lack of courage. You’re level 5 both in Courage AND Knowledge, of course you’re not taking the bait, he can eat a dick.“Your answer?” You won’t listen to anything else but that.“I had to endure this asinine game… this chicanery... the meaningless yapping... the mockery from these lowlifes… And you decide to escape like a cockroach?” Quye snarls.“Eh, not gonna lie, it’s kinda pathetic when people change rules midway only ‘cause they’re losing.” You shrug. This guy is going full Ame, and you never go full Ame.“...” Quye smashes the wall with one hand and grunts. Mark the Escapist hides behind Crossbill to heroically save his own life. “...It’s no filthy pirate.”“So is it Dunja?” You smirk, unbothered.“Yes.” Quye looks away, he’s beside himself.“Not even gonna try to veto it?” You wiggle your eyebrows.“...” Quye won’t entertain you anymore.
>>6133260“I imagined it’d be me.” Dunja isn’t surprised. You feel like it’s an ego thing, not exactly the most objective of assertions. “Care to share why I was selected, Guard?”“Care to shut your mouth?” Quye is in a foul mood.“That’s what I get for talking…” Dunja regrets opening her mouth.“We’re done then!” Crossbill claps. The Birdy Bird agrees and lets its magic do a trick Mark will be jealous of...“W-Wait, does that mean that everyone..?” Sally’s eyes shine with hope.“Told you he’d win.” Zyra smiles at Sally.“As foretold indeed.” Walter never lost faith.“Everyone!!! You’re back!!!” Sally’s eyes open wide to witness the most beautiful of fortunes! There are hugs all around!“Back in business! YEAH!!!” Brutus stands up with both fists raised. Everyone is back at their feet!“Oh, don’t tell me you cried! I asked you not to!” Beth teases the pirate as they embrace.“E-Even a great sailor can get lost in the fog of sadness…” Sally is a little ashamed to admit.“Let’s appreciate her beautiful smile now.” Tihana nods.“Who doesn’t smile when the band returns to the stage?” Baz smiles.“It’s always okay to cry though… E-Everybody does it.” Iris doesn’t see the issue as she drops her own tears of happiness.“You’d see me in tears now if the real Warden won! Haha!” Tatianna laughs.“He’s the real loser of the night, yeah!” Dylan cheers.“A troll with nothing to guard! Left alone in the pit of his failures!” Roundbert adds.“With himself as the biggest of them all.” Squarefelix adds as well.“It’s what traitors get.” Gregory nods.“A self-conceited man defeated? You don’t say…” Sasha mocks.“He barely made an effort, a truly disappointing display.” Wigmar yawns.“Rahul understands his shortcomings. Pride and arrogance come from the same beating heart. Blood doesn’t understand its purpose.” Rahul gives the Warden some grace.“Why are you lot celebrating? It’s not like the masked guard is *actually* taking us all out.” Darwin points out.
>>6133261“Actually, I am!” You say to them, then turn to Quye and the bird. “For my reward, I want you to let everyone here go. That includes every single prisoner who played with us now, Rolling Thunder, me, and my buddies.”The prisoners are getting way too excited with your request, almost to the point of disbelief. But it needs to be agreed upon though.“...Consider it done.” Quye saw this coming. “Bring them out. I’ll make sure no one interferes. Just… leave soon.” He doesn’t want to see your mask anymore…“Huh?! I’m leaving so soon?!” Carmella can’t believe it.“Bro, I’m shaking. Look at my arm! Goosebumps!” Dylan is in awe.“Me too! Didn’t even notice until you said it!” Roundbert shows his arm.“Same.” Squarefelix shows his arm too.“I’m tattooing your face on my arm, bud!” Dylan will never forget you!“I’m naming a horse after you! Your name’s Phil, right?!! I’ll call him… the Horsephil!” Brutus wants to make a tribute too!“This is… quite the birthday gift. What a dream I’m having.” Beth’s heart is throbbing!“It’s no dream! We’ll explore the seas together!!!” Sally is super excited.“Aye! Probably the only place they can’t catch us!” Tatianna laughs.“I-I have an uncle that can help us with that… Uhm, it’s a little complicated to explain now though.” Iris assures the group.“We’ll follow you then! I trust you!” Tihana smiles.“I know my shady shit, I’ll know if it’s legit or not!” Gregory promises.“Y-You can’t possibly do that! We can’t allow it, right?!” Cocoa looks for support from her fellow non-prisoners.“As far as I understand, it’s highly likely there’s no man or woman in this facility who has received a fair trial.” Judith points out. “But…”“Let’s not. We can’t exactly stop a riot, we’re outnumbered and communications continue to be broken. I’d rather not have anyone get hurt needlessly.” Hanno tells the two ladies to not bother.“You’re a smart kid, buff guy. If I didn’t have my eyes on my wild man, I’d say you’re worth a pick-up.” Sasha jokes.“If anything, it’s our chance to fight our cases in court. No lawyer reaches this place except for that wacky Christopher guy. The added charge from escaping will be worth it…” Zyra points out. “So please, let us go…”
>>6133262“Shame I don’t share the same privilege, but to see the sun again is enough for these brittle bones…” Wigmar sounds hopeful for so little.“At long last, I’ll pay them a visit. I know her well. My lovely wife can’t rest peacefully without her final goodnight kiss.” Solomon looks forward to seeing his family’s grave. He’s in for half a surprise…“You won’t be alone, I’m sure my daughter misses me the same.” Walter nods to the old man with aviator sunglasses.“Family… Perhaps Rahul needs to reevaluate his objective.” Rahul misses his own.“Is it too late to congratulate you on your victory?” Agent Mage asks. “Because I still have confetti under my sleeves.”“Allow me.” Annelien throws confetti from her shoulder pads all over the room.“W-Woah! Didn’t see this one coming!” Crossbill doesn’t know what to expect from the weird gal.“Ay! Let’s not go overboard now! The real party starts when we’re out of here!” Baz sounds cheerful for the first time!“…Y’know, am I dumb for thinking these guys aren’t such a bad bunch after all?” Cocoa realizes she doesn’t need to be a hardass!“Yes.” Dunja doesn’t mince her words.“Bah! Suit yourself! Pretend you’re not happy, babe!” Brutus has enough of Dunja’s cynicism. “Us? Let’s give ‘im a big chant before we get out of here!”The Prisoners begin chanting your codename loud and clear! They can’t stop cheering you on! Even Darwin joined!Sadly, this is all we have for this week’s thread! Thanks for playing, and see you next time!
