>”Chief archivist, overlord, master-” Sannet reverently uttered.
>His chief curator Sannet, knelt before him as a show of obeisance.
>”Solemnace rejoices at your return, lord-”
>Trazyn carried on past his curator, deeper into the gallery chamber.
>Sannet would rise and carry on behind him “A successful endeavor, my lord?”
>”A most successful endeavor indeed.” Trazyn chuckled.
>Trazyn triumphantly held up the familiar shape of a vermilion cube, a tesseract labyrinth.
>”A most SUCCESSFUL endeavor indeed” He repeated.

Hey folks Sorry for the long absence, Had to make a few changes for my health, spend time with family and overall suffered from hard burnout. Not going to excuse myself for the lack of writing since I've had ample time to mess around during that time. Did a lot more lore reading so hopefully that helps the story. Here's a quick recap of thread 12

>No longer a lobotomite, the true personality of the necron ishskar emerged.
>And immediately locked the Skorpehk Lord into a tesseract labyrinth.
>Ishskar pilfered technomandrite archives and did some research on solemnace.
>Ishskar went to the center of his blackstone fortress and infected vaul/eldarkind with mental instability.
>Turning into his c’tan form, consuming the shard of vaul and would do so with every blackstone fortress empowering himself into something new.
>The Phaerakh was exonerated for her crimes thanks to ishskar’s previous efforts.
>Phillias and the Phaerakh returned to the tomb world to find ishskar missing and all canoptek constructs going haywire.
>Both are unaware that this is because of the Skorpehk Lord’s actions.
>Ishskar is assumed to be a rogue by the awakened council and Agakhet is resurrected.

>”Most excellent my lord, but-” Sannet began.
>”Beyond excellent.” Trazyn interrupted.
>”Never have the archives of the Asuryani been so forthcoming-” He continued.
>”A score of crippled warlocks and seers shaken by visions, it has been an age since last I’ve procured such a bounty.”
>”The entire council, farseer, warlocks, the Khanite exarch, and the whole of the meditation chamber.” Trazyn gave a performative sigh.
>”All forty square khet, dozens of ancillary chambers-”
>Sannet cut in. “And undoubtedly many other relics, but I must inform you, there was a donation to the gallery.”
>Trazyn went still at that, astonished by that. “A…donation?”

>”Given willingly.” Sannet clarified.
>Trazyn ran a hand over the cold metal of his chin, entirely perplexed by this.
>”Given willingly?” Trazyn repeated.
>Sannet inclined his head to nod. ”Yes it would appear so.”
>”That is- good?” Trazyn uttered uncertainty.
>Sannet let out something approaching a laugh. ”I would be inclined to agree.”
>”Sannet, can you recall such a time when we last received a donation?”

>Trazyn grunted. “I remember this, yes.”
>”The last donation before the great sleep.”
>Trazyn mused on that point for some time.
>Many of the donations were often given to immortalize petty victories, humiliate contemporaries, or something meant to slight Trazyn personally.
>It was…surprising, but a welcome bit of news for him.

>”Well then my chief curator, tell me of this latest donation.”
>Sannet nodded. “Of course my lord.”
>The pair were instantly translated across the surface of Solemnace, to a private oubliette.
>A pair of noctolith containers, one ten’s of cubits wide, and another considerably less sizable.
>Sannet gave a flourish of his hand, and the 4 obsidian colored panels pulled away, atom by atom-
>Revealing underneath a floating mannequin, a golden clasp around its collar-
>And a crackling, burning cloak of immense beauty.
>A spectacular haze of its smoky particles rose off of the cloak.

>Trazyn balked, as he stroked at his chin. “And who is responsible for this donation?”
>”The esteemed Awakener Ishskar, of the Voehtek Dynasty.”

>The symbol of the Subjugating Tomb pressed into one of its surfaces.
>”This is the Casket of Heshkefnet, the potent engrams of a Phaerakh lie within.”
>”Some Three Hundred-Forty actions are accredited to this Phaerakh Heshkefnet, but-”
>”There is no singular mention of any dynasty from which they hail.”
>”Which is most strange, as the symbol of the Subjugating Tomb is a mark of many great victories.”

>”Whom amongst the awakened donated, I do not suspect Ossuaria or Zuberkar are capable of acts of generosity.”
>Sannet chuckled. ”Just so my lord, no-”
>”These prized donations were on behalf of Ishskar.”

>”Rare as it may be-”

>It was disquieting for Trazyn, to have to admit genuine appreciation-
>For so often his thanks was given with sarcasm or spite.
>”The High Transmogrifier has neglected to mention that detail-” Sannet started.
>”But he has left a message within a scarab, addressed solely to you my lord.”
>”Of course he has.”

>Sannet presented a golden encrusted scarab to his lord, before carefully setting it on the ground before him.
>Bowing a fraction, the insectile drone knelt before Trazyn.
>Its carapace parted to reveal a glittering blue message orbuculum at the center of its back.
>A chrysoprase projection resolved before him, presenting the hunched form of the cryptek Ishskar.
>”Lord Trazyn,” The projection started.
>”I do hope the items entrusted to your care will be a welcome addition to your gallery.”
>”Brief as my previous visits to the galleries of Solemnace-”

>”Indeed, such meticulous care in the preservation of history has been invaluable to the immortal empire.”
>”Naturally” Trazyn nodded in agreement.”
>The projection lowered its head in a gesture of submission ”So it is natural that I might lower my head-”
>”And inquire if you would be so willing to join me on my own expedition.”
>That got Trazyn's attention.

>”There are precious assets of the utmost importance to the Immortal Empire-”
>”Assets I have foreseen the destruction of.”
>”It would be-” The projection paused, turning its body to look elsewhere.
>”Proactive for us to attain.”
>”For who better-”
>”Than the greatest archivist the Necron have ever known, to attain such relics of historical import.”
>”What say you Trazyn, who is called Infinite,”
>”Will you join me?”

>Trazyn considered the projections words for a moment.
>”I suppose I cannot refuse you can I?” Trazyn smiled inwardly.
>”Very well Cryptek I shall join you on this,” He paused for effect.
>”Excursion of yours.”
>At that the projection of the hunched cryptek vanished, replaced with a map of the Galaxy.
>Hundreds of Glittering points twinkled.
>Trazyn could recognize dozens of worlds held by rival dynasties, such as Charnovokh, Ithakas, Kefalahn, Maynarkh, Nepher, Nephrekh, Oltep, and even the dreaded Sautekh, amongst many others.
>Trazyn laughed mirthfully and prepared to leave.

>Penetrating into the actual tomb itself proved to be remarkably easy for one such as Trazyn.
>Skilled in the methods of stealing from his kin, he almost instinctively knew how to access one of the hundred concealed maintenance tunnels.
>Any constructs patrolling the depths of those long shafts were easily enough overturned by the workings of the Hexagram of Thuul to sever any pesky observers from the damned tomb network.
>We had to pause very briefly at a juncture after leaving the tunnels.
>And we engaged in a rigorous debate on what Items could be taken from the Dynasty.
>Naturally no bodies could be taken, and further no constructs could be taken for every necron could be considered a vessel for possible infection.
>But the Dynasties wealth of Metagold, Strangesteel, and Vehicles could be considered up for grabs, within reason of course.

>”Produce the Casket of Heshkefnet.”
>Trazyn turned to me but caught on soon enough.
>Summoning up the small cartouche slab of blackstone, Trazyn layered the small artifact over the Ankh emblazoned on his chest.
>Joining the labors of the Plasmacyte I wove the required hexagrams, reanimation protocols, and for extra measure I would bathe the head of the Polemarch in balefire.
>And severed his connection to the casket and all further systems.
>When the winking lights of the Polemarch’s eyes sputtered to life, brief recognition sparked within his oculars.
>Before the freshly awakened Taikash could utter a phrase-
>Trazyn’s vocal actuators flooded with the authority of Heshkefnet and forced the Polemarch to submit.”You will reveal the location of each of the gravitic trebuchet.”

>Consternation blazed from his nodes.
>At Trazyn’s command he streamed the calculated coordinates of each trebuchet.
>The overloading of his neural matrices would ensure he would recall nothing of the conversation.
>Or at the very least he would burn out and be reduced to a simple necron warrior, but I refused to tell trazyn that.
>I gave Trazyn a preformative clap ”Excellent work Trazyn, with that out of the way we may visit a few of the surrounding territories, a great many will not wake in ti-”
>A low scratching rang out from the distance, both our heads turned to face the distant sound.

>Focusing my ocular on the general direction, I couldn't help but notice something within the shadow of the pilaster.
>Two smoldering motes of light.
>And there it was, staring at me was the eyes of something stained in dripping sanguine, and a misshapen rag of pallid flesh hanging over the unmistakable silhouette of a necron head.

>The scratching tailing behind us became louder and soon the skittering scratches grow into a small chorus behind us.
>Firing upon them would risk detection so running would have to do for now.
>At the first intersection trazyn tried to dive for a maintenance shaft, but found him nearly crashing into the gore covered visage of some twisted overlord wearing a mask of what I could assume to be aeldari flesh.

>And another mangy flayer clung to my cloak trying to prise open the orb from its casing.
>Without a moment's hesitation I allowed the carapace housing around my arm to fade away, and I slammed my hand into the deluded flayers head.
>That balled fist of super-heated C'tan Necrodermis cracked into the skull of the flayer.

>Partial disassembly was required, and an extension to allow for additional hardware would be required.
>With brief but useful messaging to the cryptek Sannet, I was able to learn further insights
>Miniaturized Dimensional Destabilization Matrix would be wired into the construct to allow it free movement that could bypass a tomb world's long range translation blockers.
>Lengthy lines of Authority engrams, and inclusion of the capability to cast a modified version of the Hexagram of Thuul allowed the construct the capability to co-opt other constructs to its service.

"recruit" first, but I will say that "enslave" is probably the most important on the list.

The dark throne is too valuable to be lost to the sands of time, but so too is the severed empire's raw might of numbers. Taking the severed empire first would cause too much noise to go without detection, unless your plan is to gain control of it early only to leave it be.
