How come bald men in their 30s are seen as unattractive but men in their 30s who have kept all their hair are seen as attractive and having aged well?

Balding has something to do with genetic quality from what I've observed. For example I'm 30 years old and in the process of balding, on Norwood 3 right now.
My brother who is 8 years older, taller, more masculine is at the same point as me.
