Was my 4th grade teacher being an asshole? Should I hold a grudge against him?

>being bullied by a group of five or six kids when the teacher walks in
>when he realizes what's going on, he shouts at the bullies "Go to the office! Now!"
>they protest
>he shouts "Right! Now! There will not be any bullying in my classroom, you hear me? Get out of this classroom right this second or I'll drag you down to the principal myself!"
>everyone mutters and leaves

I think it's inexcusable to yell at kids, and he threatened them as well

Most of my elementary school teachers were power trippers who got a sadistic thrill off of yelling at kids for petty shit. That being said, what you shared isn't anything to complain over.

And I think what you wrote is probably some sort of bait. A 4th grade teacher wouldn't just have their students walk the school halls by themselves, and trust that they will go where they are told to go, they will assign an aid to escort them to prevent hooliganism.
