Am I lonely?I have no friends and don't talk or hang out with anyone but my parents. But I don't really mind or have much of a desire to socialise beyond that.Meanwhile I see people with friends that they or even parnters that they see or talk to most days and they might even call themselves lonely and that just doesn't seem very true to me.

As I hinted to, you can feel when you are lonely - in the example I proposed, I for example feel I can't be friends the same way with the people who are friends with each other and I'm being in the same group as them.
