Why does the black pill depress most people? Shouldn't they feel liberated to know not everything is their fault or even the fault of others, that some things were never going to happen while other things were inevitable?

me 20 years ago wasn't gonna solve that problem and they still do it

They don't see the other side of it.

Because people aren't looking for a final conclusion in favor of hopelessness that releases them from the obligation of trying. or from the concept of fault. Almost all people would rather be subject to blame and fault BUT still be able to have hope that they can improve their situation and get the things they want if they just learn and execute the right set of steps. Being willing to sacrifice hope in a trade for evading fault and blame is alien to them - you have to be pretty beaten down by life to see that as a good trade.
