Has anyone here ever thought to seek out faith/religion to deal with the world? I've never been religious myself but I feel like having something to believe in might give me a more positive outlook on life.

searching for truth and knowledge is an admirable thing to do. Wouldn't hurt to do your research on the topic desu anon. Worst case you'll increase your knowledge base.
>>
there's nothing positive about life, that's why most religions are copes about AFTER life
>>
Yes. But buddhism isn't really a religion. It is more of an ethical guideline and mental health practice.

Religion isn't good. It's about control over masses. As for faith. All people have some kind of faith. Because we don't know basic stuff. We are like a man in a dark room searching for the light switch.
So it's a matter of what the best stuff to believe in is.
