I regret studying computer science at university
I learn literally nothing that you can't teach yourself with Google AND I don't have a strong enough foundation in maths to do a masters in what I was actually interested in all along: natural sciences

I opted for computer science over natural sciences because I was suffering from untreated PTSD and ADHD and didn't think that I would be able to cope with the stress of a natural science degree, so I took the easy path instead and just focused on getting a decent job. Forever dooming myself to be the mental equivalent of a mental laborer

Now that I'm being treated I've realised that I permenantly missed out on my chance to actually learn something interesting without the pressure of being at adult

Anyone make a similar mistake?

Thanks for reading

You don't do uni for knowledge. You do it for a diploma.

Natural sciences barely has any math, and ADHD is not real. You can easily get a job in biotech or energy with a compsci degree and then just cross train into more science based roles shut the fuck up
