Touching the dog isn't a rare, or a measure of worth, or something extremely expensive; as everyone lets everyone touch everyone's dogs. Touching a dog has no effect on the re-pet-ability of the dog. The dog doesn't change how it gets pet because of prior or future pettings. Theres so much different from petting a dog than touching a girl its insane.
