Your alternatives I guess are to stay single and do your thing/hobbies/be an aunt, or go "find yourself" and rack up a body count and get your heart broken a bunch. Again, not saying it's easy, but this seems to be where we find ourselves. If you're really interested in attracting a man, I'd say here are some good GENERAL rules of thumb:

And take care of your appearance so you age gracefully and don't have to worry about him lusting over younger women anyway.
And cooking, cleaning, raising kids, and other domestic duties are supposed to be things you do in exchange for being fully provided for and protected in the event of danger. Not something you do on top of working a full or even part-time job.
So if your man can't fully provide for your family on his own, you'll both need to work and split domestic duties. Or if you just prefer that dynamic regardless, that's fine too.
You could also just choose not to have kids, so it would take less money for him to provide for both of you, or you could both work and split chores anyway but be less stressed out and have more money leftover.

You don't have to take that chance if you don't want to. Stay single for ever and poor your soul into something that means something to you, which would be your life's work, or become a childless cat lady/wine aunt and live a shallow, mediocre, meaningless life of hollow fleeting pleasures. These are your three options. A life without risk will gain you nothing of real value. There is no glory in cowardice and inaction. Who dares wins. Just don't be a fool about it either and take those risks with some measure and caution. It goes for anything in life
