What is the scariest thing that ever happened to you on the internet? For me it was when someone convinced me they installed a keylogger on my computer and had my parents contact information, I have severe trust issues now.

In '08 I was playing on my own RSPS instance when I was about 12. About 20 mins later someone randomly hopped on the server just to amuse me, and they were actually being nice about it. I realise years later I was definitely ratted after downloading so much shit including other RSPS clients.

For me it's seeing ads or suggested content for things that I only thought about, didn't talk about or look up.

I'm in my 20s but this stalker said so many things that were correct about my internet activity that I believed they actually had my parents info. Turns out this person just said things I previously said on forums and forgot about.
