I'm 8000 words into a horror/thriller novel. Feels good man. Imami (I might actually make it)
>>78256629uhhh anon u do know AI can write novels? no one reads for the content but because of the author
Any advice? I have the idea, I have the general plot, structure, etc. I don't have the words. How does Prose work?
>>78256678King has said he doesn't plan his novels, just writes them as he goes. Me personally, I get the general idea of the thought, idea, or emotion I want to convey and translate it into sentences I think are pleasing to read. The general plot is in my head and so is the ending, but these things haven't been methodically mapped out. I've been writing for a few years now and this novel represents the most effort I've put into any project. Just roll the general idea of the opening paragraph through your mind and structure the words around that. Say, as an example, your story begins on a stormy night: imagine the storm, how the clouds cover the moon, the sounds of the wind and if it's cold against the protagonist's face. Good writing, in my humble opinion, is getting the small stuff right. And all there is is the small stuff.

>>78256629Proud of you Anon. Maybe when you're done with it you can upload it on Royalroad like the cool kids do.
>>78256629King advocates writing 2k a day. I find that crazy but the man writes 5k words a day
>>78256629Wanna share some of it with the class? I could give you feedback if you wanted.
