I love comic books (not the modern Marvel/DC crap though), Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Sherlock Holmes and all other speculative fiction stuff, but I fucking hate all the other fans of those things. The most obnoxious people in the world. I don't even despise normies as much as I despise nerds, even if we have shared interests and hobbies.
