>decide to finally go through my Terraria worlds that I found backed up on an old hard drive last month
>go to steam
>install 2017 version of terraria for the nostalgia
>insert the world files into the proper directory
>boot it up
>instant nostalgia as I hear the main menu ost
>create new character
>world 1: "world created 5th July 2015", world 2: "world created 9th of July 2015".
>both were worlds that I played on with my former best friend when we were teenagers
>walk through old bases
>we had so many dumb signs and retarded structures, I am instantly reminded about tons of inside jokes that I completely forgot about
>am reminded of moments & conversations between us that I forgot about
>suddenly remember how much fun we used to have & how much I miss him
>realize I will never be a teenager again
>I will never come home from school and play games for the rest of the day again
>realize I will never be friends with my former best friend again
>cry

How things have changed. I would do anything to travel back in time & prevent myself from becoming a friendless incel.
