It had about 40,000 links to archived 4chan threads (and other obscure foreign boards, lists of old forums, online libraries & archives, various media databases, piracy websites, rom/emulation websites, niche 90s-00s websites, torrent trackers, private trackers, manuals, tutorials.When I was working with it my pc got down due to power outage. I tried to open it but it appears as a binary file with nulls. I tried recuva but no luck, the restored file still has gibberish text. I can try deep scan, testdisk, photorec but I'm afraid it's gonna take too long, hang up or fuck up the file system because the drive is 500gb. Hex editors are too difficult for me. I guess I gotta say goodbye to my valuable info. The last time I did a backup was a year ago. I've added about 15,000 links since then.

>>78277459try ddrescue. it's a GNU command line tool that's pretty simple to use. i was able to restore stuff from a dying external drive not too long ago.you can use it with WSL if you're on windows. let me know if you need help using it.
