Do you attend a church in your country anon? Do you think you would be happier if you were part of a community that supports each other?
>>
>>79518359
No. I am fully committed to reaching the bottom of the depths of my insanity. Also I really can't get myself to believe in a god, even a malevolent one.
>>
>>79518359
maybe
but I have an antagonistic personality that loves the shock value of revering evil entities and creatures
also I'm anti-life and want my enemies to abort their babies which goes against pro-life stances.

Yes, most of the people that are my age though were home schooled at the church for pretty much their entire lives so I feel like a complete outsider. plus their super autistic becuase of the home schooling.

Doesn't really feel much like a community at all.
>>
no it would just be more people to be disappointed in me
>>

Yes I go to church every week and always have. I go with my family out of obligation really, althougb I do believe in my religion and all that. I don't think it really makes me happier but it does help to fight the fears of possession/demonic presences that I have, and maybe the fear of going to hell.

No
>Do you think you would be happier if you were part of a community that supports each other?
Sure, but I'd rather get 4chan to start doing that than base a community around an obvious lie
the community aspect is one thing Christianity does do well but you can't turn back the clock. Would much rather find a way to strengthen other (non-religious) communities

my parents used to make me as part of living with them. but it is always so weird and stupid to me especially when everyone prays or sings directly to god as if hes there. its just fuckin weird. people actually believe this. my parents stopped making me go when they realized i was just pretending and that i was totally repulsed by the idea. although there is a church near me that i go to for the music. i like liturgical and choral music a lot its comfy.

i got invited to one after some ppl found me reading the bible at the top of a hill.
Ive attended twice. Its located at a catholic school. Diverse and young audience. Friendly people. They are currently trying to get a full building. I play basketball with them on fridays a couple times. Last friday, after hearing a post-game prayer, I got some liquor and drank until i threw up. I barely survived sat, saw an incredible full moon and then some fireworks. Didn't go to church on sunday. i did however meditate at the top of the hill and not talk to women.

Yeah you probably need to all have a similar way of being raised for that to work.

>>79518450
Maybe the issue is with the exact church structure you belong to that doesn't offer a good place for young men. Especially if it is a American or liberalized Church.

I go to a Catholic Church. I'm really just as much of an outcast there as I am anywhere though.
>>
>>79518502
I don't know if I am a big fan of the catholic church, it seems to hierarchical for me, I went to a Catholic school. I feel as though churches should be more based around the actions and needs of its members rather than on some hierarchy
>>
>>79518359
No. No. While that can work wonders for some people, going to church can be the opposite and be a bunch of hypocrites who circle jerk how "holy" and "enlightened" they are when really they're full of crap. I don't want or need church to be "happy", I need money, a sleep schedule, maybe some meds, some pussy, and to get off this god forbidden site.

My parents are atheist, otherwise, I would be attending a Synagogue. Oy very bitches!

Jew.

Did they still have you circumcised and have a bar mitzvah?
>>
>>79518673
No shit, Sherlock.
>>79518730
>Circumcised
Yes.
>Bar Mitzvah
No.

The family (my mother's) is Orthodox Jewish, so no stereotypical nose, which is a blessing and a curse. I got called a goy about a month ago, which I mean is not totally wrong, but at the same time, who are you calling goy?
>>
>>79518359
No
Yes, but I'm not religious so I still wouldn't join

Yeah but they have a lot of other stuff they believe that are not consistent with christian doctrine. Jesus is also a prophet in Islam.

I've always been an observer/outsider due to how I was raised and some bad luck making school frens my first time
I probably would had better luck if my parents stuck me in some church program
unfortunately my mom got burnt by her local church because they kept pushing her hard for donations when she really had nothing to give while trying to raise my older sisters
and going to church now just seems silly; if anything I'm more interested in simply reading the bible on my own and maybe listening to some youtubeslop about it while eating or going bed
>>
>>79518933
But anon what will come of it if you are all alone? Will that build a better future?
