>go to my dad's piece of land in the middle of nowhere every two weeks>bring my .40 glock (am poor) along with some ammo and a bunch of random old junk to destroy>feel like i'm at the top of the world when i'm magdumping into a shitty computer monitor, everything like the cracking sound, recoil force, and muzzle flash makes me euphoric >run out of ammo, pick up my trash, and head hometo clarify i dont want to kill people or anything, but destroying shit and having all that power is amazing
Because it's cool and fun. There doesn't need to be any deeper psychological meaning behind it, it's loud and exciting and impressive. I'm sure throwing a grenade or being in a tank when it's firing and watching something explode on the other end would be sick too
>>80061909My favorite part is seeing/feeling the shockwave on the ground and feeling the recoil.Too bad the G36 has almost no recoil and shoots like a toy gun.I want to shoot a .50 cal so bad.Basically every gun that dislocates shoulders of idiots that don't understand basic physics looks fun.I was really puzzled about how many people don't Intuit that pressing the bud of the rifle into your shoulder is key to not get hurt by the recoil.
>>80061909I thought that I was witnessing a thread of a future mass shooter for a second anon
>>80061909>pick up my trashThank you for being a better person than most, Anon. Our country needs more people like you.
holding a gun fills me with a terrifying feeling, i have the power of god in my hand, my hands start to feel slightly numb, my heart races, suddenly i realize i could kill people or end my life with the twitch of my finger.i do like shooting though, media doesn't do guns justice, they're heavier than they look and it's difficult to hit a target consistently. satisfying as fuck when you get the feel for it down though.
>>80061909i wish i lived in a state where i could do thatinstead im stuck in jew york citysad!
>>80061909>.40You'll have plenty of ammo during shortages, like during the pandemic. Is your pistol a glock 23?
>>80061909I wanna go out and shoot some shit. Church I'm attending apparently has a rifle group and it could be fun.
>>80062222Quads of truth. I tried shooting a rifle once and the recoil hurt my shoulder.
>tfw im a britfag and I cant do this so freelyused to love going into the middle of nowhere with my air rifle but people in this country are so anal over anything gun related, I'm also autistic and its my main thing, luv firearms, dont want to shoot people but I wish I could easily do that, archery as well was fun. I used to do it in my long garden until the neighbors told my landlord and she tried to evict me, not fucking fair. In my area the archery ranges are closed, cant even fucking do it. Hate this gay no fun allowed country.I should have been born american
>>80061909>destroying shit and having all that power is amazingcause ur a manon anon we like explodin shit
>am poor>destroy junk instead of selling it / scrapping it>also wasting money on ammo>>80062222I used to have that feeling until I did it more. Also, a good way to get rid of it is simply hold the empty gun (make sure to check for bullets), then pull the trigger several times. You get used to the feeling and then it's a non issue.>>80064033Look into building your own bow. It's a suitable autistic interest and if you get good you can sell them as a cash inflow. It's basically a lot of wood carving.
>>80064224I wanna shoot my bow as well though, I used to carve my own arrow shafts and do my own fletching, literally my birthright and I cant do it anywhere. Can someone in america let me live in their basement lol, I dont make much noise.
I think it's a just a natural part of the male psyche, much like finding cool sticks and pretending they're swords/guns/staffs. There used to be a place in the mountains about 40 minutes from my house and my friends and I would go there on weekends to just shoot at random junk that seemed like it would be fun to shoot at, old guitars, dead TVs, pumpkins, etc. It was a fucking blast. Sadly the place got closed off because the lead was polluting the water (we weren't the only people who used this place as a shooting range, it was pretty popular despite not being an official shooting range, the ground there was absolutely littered with casings and junk that other people brought to use as targets) which I guess is a pretty reasonable cause for shutting it down.
