My breath is fucking vile. I have one cavity that is likely making my breath this bad, but I'm too scared to go to the dentist. I am a 27 year old male.

I thought it was a fucking memeit's really, really not, i didn't for the first 25 years of life and paid dearly for it, probably would have avoided every cavity i have if i'd just started doing it as a kid. i'm guessing you've also not had your teeth straightened when you were younger and deal with at least some crowding as a result, you have no idea the kind of vile gunk that lives between your teeth in those conditions, try smelling the floss after doing between your back molars if you're feeling brave and don't believe me, also bleeding is expected and okay at first if your mouth isn't used to it, please schedule with a dentist and at least have the damage assessed asap even if money is an issue

i have 3 giant gaping cavities. last time i went to the dentist was when i was 15 in 2016 and they told me i need like 8 fillings even though i could only see 1 small visible cavity at the time, and they said that one needed a root canal. so i had the fillings done but not the root canal but im starting to think that was a scam because i don't think cavities can be invisible. if 1 tooth with one small visible cavity means i needed 8 fillings and a root canal then now with 3 teeth that are a quarter gone that must mean all my teeth need fillings and those need to be replaced
